My daughter spotted the restaurant on our arrival on the island and on our third day visiting we decided to try it out. The menu outside seemed reasonably priced and interesting, we entered and here the problems started. The “Bistro” was full but we could sit down in the “Café’”. Does it have the same menu? Yes we were told,... More

A go to venue on an off night? Not sure but can and needs to do much better. Went for an hoc meal early evening on a Friday. Busy of course but so it should be. Both the muscadet and sauvignon blanc were just a degree or two below tepid. Bouilabaisse was ok. Spoilt by an inedible sheet of squid... More

We spent the evening at the Petit Cafe in St.Peter Port Guernsey. Unfortunately we did not book so ate in the cafe instead of the restaurant as it was full. However the staff were very apologetic and welcomed us to eat in the cafe which was OK with us. The quality of the French food was first class and we... More

I visited Le Petit Cafe with a couple of colleagues during a business trip to Guernsey. We hadn't booked and we unable to dine in Le Petit Bistro next door but we happy to eat in the 2CV room at the rear of the cafe. Initially, the service was excellent with the drinks order being taken after some wine recommendations... More

I was in Guernsey this week and a friend suggested we meet here - I was hungry and I love club sandwiches - the one at Le Petit Cafe is THE BEST ONE EVER! Thank you!

Steak and frites great flavour, superbly cooked. Excellent lunch good value. The extension upstairs is great, giving that bit more room to the cafe as it is so popular.

6 of us dined in the evening and I must say it was excellent. Authentic french cooking, style and charm. Wine is good buy seriously expensive. Everything from the moule to the bouillabaisse, sirloin to coq au vin was right. I weighed out just shy of £300 but as the saying goes, if it's good you don't mind. Cut to... More
