Well worth the visit for beatifull food and fantastic views!

Great service abit on the expensive side but the view is amazing.Didn't have one complaint as even had breakfast in this restaurant. Especially the fish dishes. sweets are also very moorish and good value as are made in the kitchen and are not pre-frozen like some restaurants.

This is an old hotel on which a great deal of money has been spent to raise it to a high quality establishment. Unfortunately the restaraunt when we visited was almost empty and the food limited and ordinary. Staff were good and friendly and helpful.

Excellent food - £17.50 for a FIVE course meal and I could not fault one of them. Beautifully presented, interesting menu, good service. Book now. tiny point:- pipe music needs to be reviewed to suit the surroundings.

This hotel is really a delight. The service is excellent, the food is good - although we only ate in the Ocean Restaurant, the Rock Garden being fully booked for all three of the nights we stayed - and best of all the beautiful views down towards the bay. We had a gold room with a balcony and sea view... More

Excellent Hotel, even in March. The service is first class and the restaurants are excellent. We had a Silver room with a balcony looking down the valley to the sea. Splendid views. Particularly appreciated the on-demand free lift into town. Swimming pool is excellent.

Stayed overnight for work. The rooms are a way away from reception through the garden in the rain with no one to help with luggage. The rooms were fine and the beds very comfortable. Getting breakfast was slow and trying to get tea was difficult although when it arrived it was tasty. We left luggage there for the day and... More

I was one of a group of about 20 people who came here for a bar meal at lunch time on a lovely July day. We sat out on the very pleasant terrace whilst we chose from the bar menu. I and several others chose the Crabmeat on Toast with Haas Avocado. (I would actually have preferred a simple crab... More

We arrived at the end of the lunch offerings but the chef was very accommodating and served us lunch. The fresh scallops were really fresh and served in shells. The goat cheese salad was superb. Definitely a place to check out!

Lovely location and views. Service very disappointing always had to try to attract attention rather than staff coming to us. Even when requested more tea it didn't arrive and had to attract another member of staff. Sandwiches delicious but cakes way too sweet and artificial tasting. I think they bought them from a shop rather than homemade! Wouldn't go back... More
