I love the food at the Red Onion, their portion sizes are huge and i always end up with a doggy bag at the end of the evening. The menu is extensive and I have never been disappointed with my order. I tend to try and eat here early in the evening as its a sports bar so understandably it... More

Went in for lunch today , ordered food and sat watching people ordering after me, yet being served their food before me. Waited over an hour to be served barely warm food ,staff were unhelpful. They took away a freezing cold meal and microwaved it,I fear my mother is now radioactive as it took over ten minutes to microwave, when it... More

It's a shame, because you don't really notice this place if you're just walking up the main street. Its kind of up an alleyway just off Le Pollet. It's a sports bar with many TV screens, plus booths with their own private TV's. Food portions are huge. I ordered lasagne, and it was twice the size of your average lasagne.... More

Had a great meal with very tasty short ribs, fresh coleslaw and fries and Hunters Chicken. Good price for Tennerfest. Décor is very dark and this may be because it is also used as a night venue. But Menu is large and so is the portions. :)

You will see from my T.A. reviews that I have been to a few places and had good and not so good. This place however is comfortably one of the worst. The place itself is fine enough, loud, footie orientated and a wide ranging menu. Ordering was a little all over the place from someone who I did not feel... More

Ok so the service is a bit rubbish but the food is proper American diner style. Very fresh salads, wide choice of burgers and hot dogs, sizzler platters, massive portions and full on flavour. The kitchen is visible which is always a good sign and they are very happy to take special requests. May i recommend the chicken caesar salad?... More

Used to love coming here with friends and family for lunch but recently its gone right down hill. Food has been poor, staff rude and using foul language in the bar. Shame as it was always a lively place but hardly ever seems to be that busy anymore
