Superb Italian!

We ate here one evening on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. In fact, we liked it that much we came back again the same week! Went for dinner here as part of a group the night after their wedding. The dinner set menu is good value, but the dessert was very poor. I had the bruschetta to start and then carrot risotto - both beautiful but the brulee.... with salted caramel ice cream was disgusting. As in it was a runny mess of a brulee... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal here, food was delicious, if you are not a lover of traditional Italian food you may struggle to find something from the starters, however the soup was tasty. A variety of main courses ordered, all were beautifully presented. The restaurant opens up into a surprisingly large eating area, staff all very good. Would definitely recommend a... More

What a find but sadly on our last nights.. How wonderful to be able to eat true Italian dishes served by a charming Italian family. We all chose different dishes and none disappointed which is unusual when one is a confirmed carnivore and another a confirmed vegetarian!

We ate here on a wet Monday night, without booking. We were made very welcome and fresh well presented food, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were looked after very well from the youngest member of staff to the owner. Thanks very much most enjoyable.

I think well heeled diners will like this restaurant's sense of occasion. The staff were numerous, although I felt others were given greater attention to me (a first timer). The scallops seemed to be incredibly fresh, but I hadn't eaten all day and would have been happier with larger portions and a bit more substance for my £36.00.

Excellent service, excellent food, and a couple of bottles of excellent Montepulciano. This restaurant never lets me down. I kept it simple - oysters to start and crab salad for mains. My friends went the more traditional route. All the food was delicious. What more can I say? It is one of Guernsey's top restaurants and it's easy to see... More

This used to be such a good restaurant when Nello ran it (now at Mora's) but since the new people have taken over (previous head waiter I believe) it has gone downhill in terms of food and service. Still a great location and a nice atmosphere.
