Could not get in last time we visited Guernsey in July so booked weeks ahead this time. After the mad rush is finished with the cheaper Early Bird offers, the place becomes calm and serene. I had the most wonderful skate and my husband the fish stew which he said was the best he'd eaten since France! Wonderful baked Camembert... More

We visited the bistro on our first night in Guernsey, we hadn't booked but we were lucky enough to get a table despite it being very busy. The food was immense - I heartily recommend the frogs legs starter and the fish of the day - and the service was ace. It's not cheap but in my mind it represents... More

I went here with my family and opted for the quick lunch menu. I had been recommended the steak and frites and was not disappointed. The steak was very tasty and cooked perfectly. I finished up with a traditional tarte tatin which did not disappoint despite the slight delay. The service was efficient given the restaurant was full but paying... More

Thanks for taking the time to review Le Petit Café. I'm delighted to know that you took pleasure in experiencing our "express lunch menu". Regarding the "tart tatin", I'm sure you will appreciate the fact that it is made fresh on order and as a result it requires a slight delay which is mentioned on the menu. When aware that... More

Unable to get a table in the bistro for the early bird menu, we were seated at table in the cafe/bar area and offered an alternative menu. The room had a lovely atmosphere and while we didn't have the menu we had gone for the food was delicious, we had frogs legs, and beef carpaccio to start followed by Moules... More

Fantastic food, highly recommend the 'early bird' menu from 6pm for 3 amazing courses for very cheap. Very friendly french staff and great service. Amazing atmosphere and top quality food... love the chocolate mousse!

We visited Guernsey on a day trip. We did not book a restaurant as we wanted to keep our options open. We had looked at reviews online and thought the lpb lookedlike a good option, so after a wander round st peters port we stopped at lpb to see if they had any lunch time tables. They sat us straight... More

Very nice restaurant, lovely décor throughout. We pooped in as a group of 12 for the early bird menu. Drinks order was a little slow, but food order went well. pleasant waiter looking after us. Food was good, kids all had frogs legs for a starter....tastes like chicken! Would highly recommend you pay a visit.

Not tried the restaurant side, but for my few visits, the cafe side always seems to be pleasant, small/cosy and serve good food. Not cheap, but decent quality. A little quirky, which is nice. Check the old CV on the wall in the back.

The ambience of this little bistro is superb in a typical French style. My wife & I were shown to a small table upstairs by a window by a friendly waiter. There was a large birthday party group right next to us but that shouldn't have been a problem. We were asked to select drinks which promptly arrived and also... More
