The ambience of this little bistro is superb in a typical French style. My wife & I were shown to a small table upstairs by a window by a friendly waiter. There was a large birthday party group right next to us but that shouldn't have been a problem. We were asked to select drinks which promptly arrived and also... More

Well, slow service (50 min wait) on a quite lunch time. But waiters still running around....why? Asked for water twice and never got it! We had set menu. Lunchtime. For £11.95 the portions were very small. Just not enough of it. Now I know it's French. But it was a little too French for us. The decor inside is quaint... More

My dining companion was a local and insisted we book at his favourite restaurant on the island. I am very glad we did! Charming and jovial atmoshere, brilliant service, and each dish was truly amazing! Between the 2 of us, we had the escargots and scallops as starters. Our mains were the "duo de canard" and rack of lamb. Everything... More

Its just my favourite restaurant . not because the food is absolutely the best... the service is sometimes a little toooo authentically French if you get my drift... but its just all-round a great experience. I always have the same thing - fresh, fat, garlicky moules - so fresh you'd swear they were flexing their pecs ! Avec frites naturellement... More

Hopefully I won't have food poisoning tonight. Went today for lunch with my son. He had steak and I had Chicken Ceasar Salad, it came with no dressing and I had to request this. The chicken consisted of little wing pieces on bone and chicken nuggety things. I can't eat meat on the bone so left the little wings. One... More

We ate here after walking past and reading their menus. It had a fun vibrant atmosphere, with charming and friendly staff. We had a bottle of their wine, [ loads to choose from] and a charcuterie to share. Nothing was too much trouble and although we did wait for a table, our experience was great! If on the island we... We went here for lunch but the bistro was fully booked (apparently it it booked days ahead...) so we ate in the bar which was fine. The place is full of atmosphere and the staff are all speaking French to each other. Food came quickly and was very good.
