We sat at a high table and chairs and ordered from the bar menu. At first I was put off because the table smelt of a cloth which needed rinsing. I soon got over this and relaxed and was served a nice house sauv blanc. We were not offered the restaurant menu because we had not booked. Anyway a really... More

We had an evening meal here and were really pleased with the standard of food and service. Both of us love bouillabaisse as a dish and they do a superb version of it here. We'll definitely visit here again next time we're in St Peter Port.

happened to find this after we had spent most of the day at castle cornet. The best lamb in a tasty bean stew I've ever tasted, and I'm from Wales where we grow good lamb. The staff are more French than you will get in France, the décor is more retro than a retro shop and the wineis great. Try... More

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! Fantastic food, lovely friendly service and reasonably priced. This was my first visit to guernsey and my first visit to le petit bistro but will certainly be back and will recommend to friends :-)

We followed reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. No tables available so were asked to wait I the bar and have a drink. Very nice bar area and could have ate in there if we had wanted to. Restaurant a little more romantic , lots of small tables. Excellent service , only had house wine but it was... More

Having had lunch in the Petit Cafe we decided to give Le Petit Bistro a try for dinner - what a treat it was. Delicious seafood, well presented by friendly and attentive waiters.washed down with a bottle of Provence rose wine - what more could you ask for? Definitely one of the best meals we have had in a very... More

I have eaten in many restaurants in the town due to frequent business trips. The food and service here is quite simply my favourite. The service is friendly and food fantastic. A most relaxed evening without being stuffy. Well done guys (and girls!)

Best tip, just go and enjoy the ambience, if you dont mind being very chummy with your neighbours of course!!! The locals rave about this place, but I find the food to be over seasoned. I made the mistake of mentioning the very salty fries to one of the waiting staff, and he was a little put out. Never mind... More

What can I say we had a fantastic evening with great food enjoyable chit chat with the staff and yes the Tarte tatin is worth the 20 minute wait that it states on the menu. Yum. If you plan on going to Guernsey make sure you book this ahead to avoid being disappointed.
