We dined here four times during our recent visit to Guernsey and we were not disappointed with the different meals we had. The meals I had included Duck, local steak, and chicken supreme. All were cooked to perfection with excellent "trimmings". Finished off with one of the delicious "puds" and a fine dining experience was had by my wife and... More

Fantastic location and views and the interior décor is beautifully done. Service was good but the food was a big let down. The food was well presented however the flavour combinations were very experimental and just didn't work. The starter of scallops was on a pea puree with pickled fennel and radish. As a starter I could live with this... More

We enjoyed an absolutely delicious three course meal bursting with fresh ingredients, interesting flavour combinations and beautiful presentation. Warm, prompt service. Gorgeous views. Prices all perfectly fair and decent. Top notch food in a lovely restaurant without any stuffiness. Our baby was welcome there too (we took a 13.45 booking so it would be a bit quieter). Just go and... More

Maybe it was the late September sunshine, sitting in the garden or watching the display by the Red Arrows but this was a very good lunch. With an extensive menu that needed great thought, I started with their twist on consommé. The consommé with mushrooms and asparagus was the best starter I have had in a long time and is... More

We enjoyed a long leisurely family lunch for my birthday at the Auberge. Our party of six mixed and matched from the fixed menu and the à la carte. I loved the Gazpacho although the portion was a little too generous and filling. I followed with the grilled half lobster with garlic butter and chips (a glutton for garlic it... More

We had asked for a table with a view when booking and do understand that they were already taken. However it was the way I was spoken to which I objected . As they say its not what you say its how you say it. On arrival we were shown to our table and ordered some drinks and food. My... More

Food was gorgeous, with well thought out menus. Service was excellent, good atmosphere not too stuffy for an upmarket restaurant. View from the garden out of this world.

Although we only had time for a lunchtime drink the restaurant and location were very impressive and will definitely return for a meal on our next visit to Guernsey.

After visiting and eating out in Guernsey for many years we finally visited this fabulous restaurant. We were lucky enough to find a table on a busy Bank Holiday Saturday night at very short notice courtesy of the manager Ben Vispalie who pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a super evening. The food was epic (thank you... More
