We booked for 8.30 and arrived at 8 for pre-dinner drinks. The place was heaving and we weren't shown to our table until after 9, so it was almost 9.30 before we started eating. Having said that, once we were seated the service was excellent. We also enjoyed the Tennerfest menu which is 2 courses this year and then went... More

Three of us had the Tennerfest meal today. A great selection of exciting food. Loved my starter of smoked chicken with bang-bang sauce then mullet on mashed potato with basil and sun-dried tomato. Stunning. Ben, the manager, as usual, great and the other staff friendly and pleasant. Thank you for a lovely time.

This is an outstanding restaurant with a kitchen and brigade on top form. The four of us ate off the menu Prix fixé which at £22 for three courses is wonderful value. We had a variety of the dishes - bang bang chicken salad and duck salad for starters, lamb, tiger prawns and mullet for mains, honey parfait and chocolate... More

This is a truly stunning location. If you can get a table by the window the views over the cliffs are spectacular. It is entirely non pretentious and we loved it. The food is excellent and I would recommend going. Wine was good. Prices started around £18 a bottle. It can be somewhere to dress up and feel special or... More

Nothing is too much trouble at the Auberge. We have just been to Guernsey for a week's holiday and loved this restaurant so much we back back twice!. The food is modern British, the staff and very well trained and the menus are well put together. We happened to visit just as the famous Tennerfest was starting so we sampled... More

Tennerfest, during October and early November. The price was £15.00 for two courses. Food was excellent and there is an offer on wine during the Tennerfest.

Took a group of six friends to the Auberge for the fourth or so annual time. Fairly priced, interesting and well cooked food. I had a rather good fish cocktail with marginal Marie rose then, as always, pork belly with vestigial apple sauce. To end a Zak Goldsmith (apple green) version of Eton Mess. From a varied wine list I... More

This is a great place to eat. We have a cousin who lives nearby and whenever we visit we come to L'Auberge at least once. It's worth a visit just for the view! The food is eclectic and beautifully cooked and presented by an attentive and professional staff. OK so it isn't the cheapest place on the island, but you... More

This probably sounds a strange comment - generally people complain when they have to wait. We visited for a "last supper" before my daughters departed for university and we were planning to enjoy our evening. To say we were rushed is an understatement : predinner drinks and menus brought, order taken very promptly - our glasses of wine for our... More

We visited L' Auberge restaurant while on a 4 day stay in Guernsey. It was so good we went twice. We arrived on a Sunday morning a little early for Sunday lunch. On asking if they had a table for later they kindly said they could fit us in(and they were very busy) but would we like a coffee while... More
