Amazing food with amazing views

After several visits spanning many years it is good to see that L'Auberge always maintains a high standard. The food is first-class with a good choice of dishes and an adequate portion size. The service is excellent and our friendly and helpful waiter did not make us wait too long between courses nor did we feel rushed. Whether a resident... More

A 15 minute drive outside St Peters Port, this restaurant offers very good food with breathtaking views across Guernsey harbour and Castle Cornet. Service was very quick, so if you want to enjoy the views and ambiance more I suggest you request a delay between courses.

We visited for a coffee, champagne, starter and bread - all excellent with beautiful accompanying views. I thought it would be more fancy with smaller plates but it's not the white table cloth style. Steak menu looked interesting.

Arrive a little before your dinner or meal time and take the time to drive or walk along to St Martins Point about half a mile on a quite country lane and you will see views you dream about, with a pine forest on the side of cliff to views reaching across to Herm, Sark, and on a clear day/evening... What is there not to like about the Auberge. Location, perfect. Food, perfect. Staff welcoming & nothing a trouble for them to do for their customers. We visited on Liberation Day & had a perfect view of the fireworks at St Peter Port. Definitely recommend this for foodies. Will be returning next time we visit Guernsey

We visited L'Auberge purely from the great reviews on Tripadvisor and it does not disappoint. We luckily arrived before sunset so were able to take in the spectacular view - on longer evenings in the summer dining outside must be quite an experience. The restaurant is modern and lively and the food good. All the staff were extremely friendly and... More

A ten minute cab drive down narrow roads from the town centre gives you time to chat to the driver and share more Guernsey stories. Then, as the sun sets on another typically warm day on the island, you pull up into a heavenly destination. A peaceful vantage point from where you witness the whole of the island and, of... More

The view is to die for in any weather but sunny day is the best. Food always excellent, good choice and attention to special dietary requirements. Service excellent and good range of wines.
