We decided to try the 2014 Tennerfest menu for lunch, which this this year had a Bavarian theme. The ham hock was perfectly cooked and was even covered in crackling. The calves liver was also wonderful. There were people eating outside as the tables had been left out later this year, although we chose to eat in the restaurant due... More

we were staying here for four nights, so on our first night we booked a table in the restaurant. We had the tennerfest menu which was good value and the quality of the food couldn't be faulted. The staff are so friendly and very attentive. During the course of our stay we had drinks in the bar, again friendly attentive... More

I have just had the most delicious lunch at the Cobo Bay Hotel. It was Bavarian themed and absolutely perfect. I could not pick a fault. I had the Rose Salmon and Smoke Trout Parfait, which was sublime, and served by a really happy waiter. My main course was perfectly cooked venison casserole which I just had to eat and... More

We ate there 4 times during our stay at Cobo. The food is very well prepared and the service is exceptional. A touch pricey but well worth it.

We stayed at the hotel and went to eat next door at the Rockmount but because it was a Sunday and they do not serve meals on that day of the week, we returned to the Cobo Bay Restaurant. The staff are very friendly and professional. We thought the prices to be a little high, and so opted for the... More

This restaurant was booked for our anniversary and a special meet up with friends (who are local people). Drinks were ordered and on their arrival, our food order was taken. Everyone ordered just mains but I just wanted a starter plus some new potatoes. The meals took ages ( at least 40 mins) to arrive. However, although my small bowl... More

My favourite place in Guernsey, spent my teen years on the beach, got married in the hotel and spent every Christmas Day having lunch in the Hotel until we had kids. Now our kids love the beach and the terrace for tea !

We had booked a table on the terrace but unfortunately it was raining so we ate inside. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, we were warmly welcomed. A good quality house wine accompanied our meal, my wife enjoyed her rack of lamb but my whole baked plaice was undercooked although everything else was excellent. All in all I would recommend... This hotel restaurant facing the amazing Bay of Cobo offers the best of everything. Food, presentation, service are faultless. We sat on the terrace, watching the sun setting on the beautiful beach; a photographer's dream. Everything is in place to make your eating al fresco as friendly and comfortable as possible: heater, parasol, eventual blanket, etc. I, we loved the... More

We attended as a group of 16 for a family meal. Despite all tables full we received excellent service in both the quality of food, the speed of service and the helpful staff. If your visit coincides with this event you are in for a treat
