Excellent location overlooking the beach an the wide sweep of St Ouens Bay. Sitting outside must be better than inside, which was rather noisy. Why oh why must places like this insist on playing music which nobody can hear because of all the other noises? It is just annoying. Choice of food was very extensive, and not expensive for good... A brilliant place for a casual brunch/lunch/coffee or just a beer watching the surfers. No ceremony is stood on, but the staff look after you and the food is fantastic

I regularly go to El Tico but hadn't been for a while following a really bad experience!... Returned with friends and had a great time. The service had improved loads and the food was great as always! Will definitely be going back. Glad I gave them a second chance!...

Went here for a meal with my wife and shared a grazing platter, which was very fresh and tasty, though the spare ribs were not to our taste. My wife had a huge bowl of modules mariniere and I had pulled pork, which was disappointing, compared with my previous experience. Service was generally good, and the price was extremely reasonable.... More

Recently visited El Tico and enjoyed our lunch in the sun. Our main courses were very well presented and very tasty. Service was attentive. We did feel the prices were on the high side...but this would not put us off returning.

This "surf shack" is as close to one of the best beaches on the island as you can get. The views are completely awesome. The sunsets inspiring It is not fine dining but it is excellent. The servings are more than adequate and of the highest quality. My wife says it is the best meal she has had in Jersey... More

Food here is excellent and portions were enormous. Fresh fish a speciality and fantastic. Only drawback is that they do not take reservations and you have to sit at shared tables with bench seats. However the views over St Ouens Bay more than make up for this.

Great food, prices reasonable. Fantastic view. Go if you're in the area and you like burgers, sea food, friendly, helpful staff and a family friendly setting.

The El Tico is what it purports to be. It is a "surf shack". I used it a lot in my youth when I spent most of my time thinking about surfing and most of my money following the waves. Each time I visited Jersey you would find me on St Ouen's in the El Tico. Things have changed people... More

Visited here for brunch, sat outside and an amazing view of St Ouens beach. What a place to eat. Meal was excellent, breakfast menu served until 11:30 am. Had lunch here a couple of days later and very good. There home made granola is great. If in Jersey and a lovely day, a must to site, eat and relax. Staff... More
