Perfect beach location and range of food

The menu was so enticing that I wanted to try everything on it, a mixture of traditional grilled food, fresh fish, asian, mexican and the best of several other areas. My wife and I are regular visitors to Jersey and when we were asked to tour guide for her mum, dad and friends we jumped at the chance to show them jerseys best places to eat and tourist attractions. Now El Tico didn't disappoint us between the 6 of us 2 mezz platters were ordered one veg and one grazing... More

Went for lunch today and had the haddock chowder that comes with warm ciabatta bread.. Asked the waiter if I could have the bread with garlic butter instead of normal butter and was told " there may be a small charge for that " I was a bit surprised that I would be charged extra for some garlic butter instead... Great service- Very chirpy and smiley girls served us straight away. Great view - unrivalled beach setting! Delicious freshly cooked food. We went twice, once for breakfast and had Mexican eggs which were amazing! Then went back for lunch that following day and had mussels and chips, also gorgeous! Dessert of organic ice cream great and wheat free. I could... More

After 18 holes golf nearby we both had quite an appetite. The beachside restaurant I'd eaten at during the summer closed early on Sundays so we drove 3 minutes to El Tico. Fast, friendly greeting invited us to wait for 20 minutes. Why not? 5 miles playing golf and a wonderful view over the surf meant we were quite happy... More

We went every lunchtime for the three days we stayed in Jersey, the food and setting were excellent. Once you have had linch and great opportunity to stroll along the beach. We will be back

Just returned from a five day visit to Jersey. Stayed in one of Jersey's most luxurious hotels but ate here most nights as the food is just wonderful and the atmosphere great with a superb view of the beautiful St. Ouen's bay. The menu is simple and reasonably priced but each dish has been well thought out for its balance... More

What better way to spend a dreary Friday lunchtime than sat it the El Tico watching the waves roll in and breaking on the rocks.!!. Food was excellent as ever, one of my favourite places to eat,no matter what the weather is doing.

Head here every time I'm in Jersey, perfect place to head for some food after a long day surfing:) incredible views of the coast and some of the best mussels I've ever eaten. It's crazy popular so there can be a bit of a wait for tables on hot days, visit outside the busiest peak times!

Flying visit to Jersey and taken here by locals for a business lunch. Sea front cafe charm plonked down seemingly at random in the sand dunes on Jersey's west coast. Very busy on a wet and windy Thursday lunchtime in February. Nice atmosphere with a big stove keeping the whole place warm and friendly. Food well above "sea front cafe"... More
