Good service

This place is always busy and if a little noisy when it is children's hour. I do despise my hot chocolate served in a glass mug, why do they do this??? I ordered a prawn sandwich with rose Marie sauce, this was in a very small dish on the side , not enough to spread on 2 slices of bread,... read more

Considering the choice of places to get breakfast in Jersey the standard here is a let down!! Eggs overcooked, beans dried up, black pudding burned. Very expensive as beverage and fruit juice not included in price. When the bill arrived it was £28+. Won't be returning as there is better to be had within a short journey downhill.

Have had breakfast here several times in the last few weeks. It is generally quite quiet around 9am and so offers a peaceful retreat to enjoy food from a tasty selection on the menu. good quality ingredients, well cooked and presented. Quick service. Some special offers if you just want tea and toast or a croissant /teacake too. Worth a... More

Quick service, but not too quick ! Really friendly staff. Will definitely go back as tasty healthy choices. A homely atmosphere - serving a great selection of cakes and pastries.

I've been visiting this restaurant for many years and whilst it provides reliable food - in my opinion, it's become a bit too pricey. If you're looking for a simple sandwich - expect to pay in the region of £6 or more! And the cakes, whilst absolutely enormous (too enormous if you ask me) - are also very expensive. The... More

We paid £23 for two ciabatta sandwiches and two hot drinks, the quality, quantity and presentation were not to a good standard.

From time to time we head out of town for lunch, an occasional treat is to head to Ransoms Tearoom at the garden centre. My only criticism is that all of the surfaces are hard and bare, it is after all inside an original granite farm building. This leads to the resulting ambient noise sometimes being hard to combat. However,... More

We had just come back from a week in Normandy, and had our grand daughter for half the day. We thought it would be nice to pop out for lunch. I made the mistake of ordering their Moules. They looked like re-heats rather than freshly cooked. (Perhaps I had been spoiled in Normandy where seafood is fresher.) We also ordered... More

Dear Colin, I would like to reassure you our moules are super fresh and are delivered daily – this is because it is one of our most popular dishes. We would never reheat moules, we only cook to order . We sold a large quantity of moules that day and have had no other reports from customers on feeling unwell... More

This is a well run venue. It has lots to feed both the mind and the body! There is a large shop with thousands of interesting and wonderful items for sale. A nice garden section with all the usual stuff. Browsing the large shop area is a treat with much to feed the mind with gifts and ideas to stimulate... More
