Was a little sceptical of the other reviews having been caught out before by Tripadvisor raves but they were spot on here. Lovely little bistro where, despite being incedibly busy, the staff made you feel welcome and the food was full of flavour.

We booked a table for our first night in Jersey but booking only guarantees you priority when a table becomes free. The restaurant was packed and the ambience, food and wine were good but do not go here if you expect fine dining.

A very busy restaurant with regular diners. Booking would be advisable. We had a beef wrap and stuffed mushrooms, followed by Sole and beef/prawn sizzler. The food was good but not extra special. The service again was good but not special. The place had a cottage- type feel and was nice with generous portions.

This is probably Jersey's best restaurant. The food is fantastic, service excellent and prices for the quality low. I visited with my husband and teenage children and was enormously impressed by the quality and speed of the meals served.

Another hidden gem of Kensington Place, my partners favourite of the week! I must confess after seeing his duck roll starter I thought it was a main course and he said it was absolutely the best ever! he then followed with the ribeye steak in a peppercorn sauce which he said was just cooked to perfection with ample home made... we had a birthday dinner for 7 last weekend. The food and atmosphere was excellent and very reasonably priced. Great mussels followed by the fish platter which was perfectly grilled fish (not spoiled by batter as is often the case). A good selection of well priced wines and great service, heartily recommended!

Visited with my wife twice whilst on holiday in Jersey. It's no pretensions to fine dining, but it certainly has something special. The food was excellent - my wife mainly sticking to the seafood and me to the meat dishes and we both liked it very much indeed. Starters were very substantial, so make sure you have an appetite! This is our absolute favourite restaurants in Jersey. The food is consistently outstanding, I think they should probably have a Michelin star.

Chose this restaurant from previous reviews on trip advisor. Very friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere and excellent food. We had chicken goujons and vegetable soup for staters which were both excellent. We both had fillet steak for main - both steaks cooked to perfection . Lovely onion rings and pepper sauce . We did not have room for a dessert!!!... More
