Arriving at the restaurant we were seated quickly given the choice for our table. Children seated, drinks were offered efficiently. The menu lacks much detail about some of the dishes. We decided what we fancied including a dim sum selection starter, only to be informed they have none and wont have any for a couple of weeks now. Starters came... More

This is a very good Chinese restaurant with a lot of positive points. The atmosphere was good, the staff were polite and helpful and the food was generally to a high standard. However, there were a few points that could have been better. Firstly there were no prawn crackers on the table-surely we didn't have to order them! Then the... More

So last night we went to the mandarin room for din sum. So we spent ages waiting to be seated then they had run out of Din Sum at 7.30.We spent the next hour being mostly ignored by the waitresses. This is the worst restaurant for service i have ever been to.

Clean and well looked after resturant. Food good.Staff welcoming and helpful. Prices reasonable . Only one small comment is that the only sell small bottles of beer which was a bit pricey.could do with putting draught beer on. other wise well recommended.

We picked up a takeway from here but were not really blown away. There was so much garlic in the dishes and the pork dish we had was just deep frried tiny pieces of shredded pork in tons of batter...very oily! The special friend rice was bit tasteless and dry. The prices were ok but would not rush back here.

We went here on the recommendation of TripAdvisor and generally thought it was alright. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the food was only average. The crispy duck was very well made and delicious, as were the soups. The main dishes were all tasty but we found them to be too salty. The twice cooked pork (meant to... More

Walk in, after a short wait to be acknowledged (take away orders) was seated. Menu arrived with a basket of large prawn crackers. Had a beer, then ordered the 1/2 aromatic duck followed by sweet and sour cantonese. Duck was lovely, ran out of pancakes despite having plenty of duck left, waiter kindly got some more along with sauce. Main... More

We ordered a takeaway at 7pm were told by food.je it would be an hour. Then recieved msg saying it would be hour an half. We waited till 8:50. Phoned them took ages to answer. They then said probably be about 30 minutes. Ridiculous would have ended up being 2 1/2 hours for a takeaway!! We just cancelled in the... More
