Read about this place on Trip advisor after finding out the other restaurant in Jersey Fish market is closed during the roof replacement. We also received a recommendation from a sales assistant working in one of the Department stores in St Helier so we had to give it a try. Bistro Rosa does not look much from outside, in fact... Don't be put off by the building works, don't be put off the fact the restaurant looks like a portacabin, don't be put off by the plastic garden furniture and don't be put off by the greasy spoon opposite....this is, by far, the most charming and exquisite restaurant on the island. We always dine here when on our holidays and... More

My partner and I ate here for her birthday. It is a tiny establishment tucked away in the entrance to the fish market. It is unassuming and unpretentious yet serves the finest seafood with 5 star service. We shared the almighty fish platter, whilst not seeming cheap it came with a whole lobster, a whole crab, squid, king prawns, butterfly... More

Our trip to this restaurant ended up to be a disappointment. On a rainy miserable day we were told that the only seats available were outside, having read the good reviews we accepted. Outside was however in a corridor covered by scaffolding. We had three courses and stayed a reasonable time during which only two inside tables were taken. This... More

Nice, little, no fuss, friendly service restaurant with good quality seafood. I love the garlic bread as well. Everything is so reasonably priced as well. Oyster and lobster is a must.

For the past month returning on x3 occasions, my partner and I have thoroughly enjoyed dining at one of Jerseys best restaurants in St. Helier, tucked away in the entrance of the fish market. Bistro Rosa seems to be the best kept secret, but now our best find for the most delicious and flavoursome cuisine cooked by the wonderful and... More

Tiny little restaurant on the entrance to st helier fish market, don't be put off. We booked a table the night before and they managed to fit us in, we ordered the hot fruit de mer and were not dissapointed, a large platter with a whole lobster, whole crab, huge prawns, smaller prawns, whelks, the tastiest mussels ever and oysters... Regular at bistro rosa and as usual the food did not disappoint. I had 6 fabulously plump oysters followed by a perfectly cooked bream, my partner had garlic prawns which for her were slightly over but the sea bass more than made up for it simply cooked but superbly cooked her brulee was exquisite and she is a desert queen.... The Bistro Rosa is situated in Jersey's lovely fish market so it's an ideal spot for lunch. It's a little gem. I had spotted a Moules Frite special advertised on their board and decided I would lunch there the following day. On my return the special was no longer advertised but the chef said it was not a problem and... More
