Had the seafood platter last night. It was fantastic, the crab and lobster were the best that we have ever eaten. Don't be put off by the location. This is one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. Not to be missed.

Situated inside the fish market, this restaurant serves excellent seafood either through a set menu or a la carte. The food quality was excellent, although the service can be a little slow at busy times. The waiting staff are efficient without being particularly smiley or welcoming. Be aware the restaurant seats approx. 20 indoors with another 20 or so seated... More

We were staying in St Helier for a short break, and were eating out to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We booked largely based on the reviews at Tripadvisor. Eating at the Bistro Rosa proved to be interesting but I have mixed feelings about it. Overall it was certainly better than average, but not sure it makes very good. The restaurant... More

We visited twice in our week in Jersey. It is good fun as you can watch the chef preparing all of the dishes in such a calm manner. They bring the fish to show you so you know what is on offer that day. It can be busy but they never stop moving, so it is best to relax and... More

On a recent trip to Jersey we ate in this restaurant twice. If you enjoy fish this is the place to go to when in Jersey. It is a bit difficult to find as it is just inside the entrance to the fish market. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced.

We saw this on tripadvisor for a resent weekend trip to Jersey and we weren't disappointed, if you like fish this is a must, we went for the seafood platter, and it was fantastic, only a small restaurant, so book, it's just inside the fish market, but don't let that put you off, of an evening the way it is... As everyone says, the food at Rosa's is very nice, well cooked and tasty. But their service was diabolical. We had booked in advance rather than risking not getting a table, but we were so disappointed. We were still waiting for our mains an hour and a half after we arrived. It had taken fifteen minutes from arrival to be given... More

We went here on the basis of the TA reviews and had a bit of a problem finding it : its just inside the fish market entrance on the left. We got one of the last tables for the night after asking the owners during their own meal (c 5.30) and were so glad we had taken the trouble to... More

Bistro Rosa was also recommended by another hotel guest. We didn't go there last year because its location in the fish market makes it look like a market cafe - but nothing could be further from the truth. The service is good, friendly and quick and the quality of the food is excellent. My wife was fascinated to watch the... More

Booked an early slot as we had read reviews about being busy but when we arrived at opening time there were 18 covers for a staff of one chef, one commission chef and one waiter which put the staff under pressure. Food was great and well cooked but the server was multi tasking to the extreme. Stater, main course and,... More
