We had The Jersey Burger, made with local beef. Great taste! Cooked to order, great quality, lots of locals are coming here for burgers or tea and scones.

If you visit Jersey this has got to be a stop! Bit of a queue on the weekends and holidays but that just shows how popular it is with locals too, fantastic food, the proverbial heart attack on a plate and some of the tastiest breakfast barms I have ever tasted.

Actually The Hungry Man is not in St. Helier but at the small fishing harbour of Rozel. Also not a restaurent in the accepted sense but a small kiosk. Having said that I believe that they serve the best bacon rolls you will find anywhere. In fact they were voted, in a national newspaper, as in the top five in... More

If you went by appearances you would not eat here but don't be put off by the scruffy outside, the food is great.

We usual walk to Rozel from St Catherine's when we go to Jersey and always have lunch at the Hungry Man. A bit short of time this visit so we went on the No.3 but the food still tasted as good! The crab sandwich is wonderful. I have never tasted better. How they manage to produce such great food and... More

I always make an effort to visit this wonderful SHACK in Rozel Harbour. Now that they have a Nespresso Machine, brekkie is perfect. I usually have the full monty and to hell with the diet (Jersey is perfect for walking it off anyway). Portuguese buns (brown or white) make your BLT, Bacon, Cheese and Eggies etc. etc. perfect. Alexis had... More

After a long walk this was a very welcome pit stop. The crab sandwich was very good and the service was efficient and quick. Good prices with a wide selection of food and drink. Toilets available. I will be back.
