The variety of food on offer here is good and the quality and presentation excellent, the home made cakes are tempting and its not easy to decide what to have as the selection is so varied. We first visiting this tea room in 1986 on our first trip to Jersey and each time we return its a must. On... read more

We always visit here when in Jersey. Very clean place, good homemade food, pleasant service. The owner always recognises us from previous visits and a lot of locals visit, always a good sign. Perhaps a little expensive, but you pay for quality!

The best toasted sandwiches anywhere, maybe it's the home made bread that makes them so delicious. I keep thinking I might try something different, but I can't resist my toastie. The cakes are superb and fresh, and there is a good choice. The staff are friendly, and the garden is very pleasant in the summer.

The best thing to happen in March - The Poplars re-opens!! It never disappoints - their cheese toasties are the best I've ever tasted, not to mention the wonderful collection of homemade cakes. The only problem - what to choose!!

this restaurant offers a full luncheon menu, from scrumptious soups (four kinds), to salads, sandwiches, desserts etc., all fresh and very tasty. We had been cycling for several hours and this pretty restaurant was a perfect place for a rest. Only down side, if you care to call itI that, is that The Poplars is not licensed.

One of my favourite tea gardens, with homemade treats. Perfect to walk to from Highlands Hotel along the cycle track.
