Lovely tea rooms

Lovely tea rooms I came across during long walk from St Helier. Excellent cake and very nice mellow coffee too. Family run business with long heritage as shown by the family tree on the wall.

My wife and I have visited this location every time we have taken a holiday on Jersey over the last 25 years, possibly ever since it was first opened by Gillian's mother. Each and every time we are there it is as if we had been there just recently. We always receive a warm welcome and surprisingly Gillian remembers us... More

A family owned business only open April to September. Great selection of homemade cakes, scones etc. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. Just sit back and relax.

We recently visited the Poplars with family while we were all staying at the nearby St Brelades Bay hotel (see separate review). My parents have been several times before when visiting Jersey so my expectations had been set very high. We were not disappointed. It was a beautiful day so we sat in the lovely garden outside, 5 adults and... More

This quaint tea room offers eating inside and out in the attractive garden. Offering a variety of home made cakes and scones as part of their varied lunch menu, this tea room is one of my favourites on the island. The staff are very friendly and obliging adding to the peaceful ambience of this busy but quiet tea room.

Went here for a quick cuppa and a bit of cake. Lovely homemade fresh cakes. A nice little old fashioned tea room. Would go again.

We had coffee and cakes here during our recent holiday in Jersey. Delicious cakes, beautiful presentation, teas and coffees were elegantly served. A lovely garden setting, friendly staff.

Afternoon tea and scones like they should be....loads of jam and cream....stunning....nice setting too quiet understated but don't let appearance put you off. Nice sandwiches and salads as well as the usual burgers...nice way to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon.

Made to feel like a nuisance, waited ages to be served! Our waitress must have been having a really bad day. Not the sort of atmosphere you want to hang around in. What made it worse was they weren't even that busy compared to other tea rooms we had visited. We know why now! Sadly, I would have liked to... More
