Read all the reviews on here and coming from London thought we would be treated to delicious home produced food. Maybe other customers got lucky on their visits but ours was dissappointing! Firstly the staff are not overly happy looking and after ordering my food came and put tea, 'jam' (more later) and cream on the table at least 5... More

Visited the poplars for the 1st time since the new opening season, obviously the increase in menu prices are to subsidise the minor changes inside the the tea room . We were charged £6.05 for a sausage roll salad this is extravagant to say the least for a sausage roll which is charged at £1.60 for a takeaway and what amounted... More

I make a point of visiting the Poplars every time I go to Jersey. The food is excellent - I have had all sorts, the sausage roll salad is lovely, as is the ham sandwich, on fresh bread made on the premises, with thick ham from the bone. Home made cakes are excellent - lemon tarts, mirangues, cream cakes. Definitely... More

Excellent service, great food, clean estabishment, tranquil setting - the garden at The Poplars is the perfect spot to enjoy a summer afternoon in Jersey. Try the brie and bacon toastie - it never disappoints.

On this holiday we had lunch here three times! (My friends, who arrived a day before I did, sneaked in an extra visit, for which they have not been forgiven!) Don't need to say more, really, but I will. I have never had such lovely cheese scones anywhere - so light, and with a salad they make a lovely lunch.... More

My wife and I have been coming here for many years on our holidays. It is a family run business and they have always maintained a high standard. Lovely scones & cakes and all in an ideal setting. Friendly & helpful staff - best place in Jersey for a light lunch or afternoon tea

found this tearoom by chance while walking from corbiere to st aubins. What a find ! Set in delightful walled garden with fruit trees, Scones and coffees delicious, owners very friendly. Went back a second time during our week in Jersey, this time we had lunch and the standard was just as good.

An amazing garden outside which on a hot summers day is such a peaceful sun trap. The food is all home cooked - sausage roll salad is my firm favourite. Only a few outdoor tables which means its always quiet. Afternoon tea is one of best on island. A definite stop if your visiting our rock

We've been visiting the Poplars for many years when on hols in Jersey. It's great! Good tea and coffee in a pot if you like, snacks and lunches, and cake and our favourite Lemon Meringue Pie. great service, and nice to sit in the garden if a table is free.

We have been going to poplars for several years whenever we holiday in Jersey. It is our number 1 cream tea destination and we also take away some homemade cakes for later on. A deserved score. Well done! Keep it up! See you next year!
