Favourite place!

We love it here! The cakes are amazing and food is great. Reasonably priced and lively staff. Local jams and black butter is sold here aswell. They do a nice afternoon tea.

A lovely setting, with friendly staff and delicious food. Tasty, fresh cakes and scones. A good selection of tea and soft drinks. Greta value for money.

We stopped off here on a small diversion from the railway route to Corbieres and it was well worth the small cost in extra steps to sit, rest and have tea and cake in their well kept garden. Victoria sponge was light and moist. Tea was fine. Prices seem high compared to many UK tea shops but that's Jersey for... More

My husband and I stopped to sample the Poplars after reading the good reviews. We had the home made scones which were not fresh. Only for the cream and jam which we ordered, they would have been inedible. They were served to us by a member of staff who was quite unfriendly and without a smile. We will be back... More

Poplars is always a "must visit" place for us on our visits to Jersey. The food and service are of a very high standard, such that all other places we visit are judged against Poplars! It is to be recommended for anything from a substantial lunch to a cream tea. Being family run, however, they do need time to 'catch... More

This is a nice little tea room stop while going round the Island. The coffee and cakes are real nice and all the baking is home made.

The poplars is an easy place to miss despite the fact it is on relatively busy road . However it is well worth the effort when you find it . Quality abounds and the atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful . A great place to enjoy Jersey hospitality at its best .

Whenever we visit Jersey we always call here. It is family run and all homemade food. The service is always pleasant, we last visited in late March and the lady always remembers us! Nice touch. This time we had Crab sandwich, tuna sandwich, egg mayo baguette and cheese & onion toasted panini all came with a little salad and a... More
