Worked our way through the tasting menu. Worth the money. Food, service, surroundings, all top notch. It would be picky to criticise anything

Mark Jordan at Ocean was one of the finest tasting menus we have sampled this year. Mark’s seven course tasting menu with wine selected by Ocean's head sommelier was simply astounding. I can only echo other contributors compliments in every way. If you love fine dining & masterful pairing of wines in a relaxing stylish hotel restaurant overlooking Jersey’s beautiful... More

Everything you would expect of a Michelin starred restaurant. The food was imaginative, beautifully balanced and delicious, the service exceptional and the location light, airy and spacious. Well worth a visit.

Probably one of the best if not the best restaurants we've visited. From the moment you step in the door of the restaurant you are made to feel welcome and special. The food was amazing. Every dish we ate was some of the best food I've tasted. We had the taster menu and were not disappointed. The only criticism I... More

This was fine dining at its best. Service was outstanding but not over attentive. Atmosphere was welcoming and the views were spectacular over St Ouens Bay. For a Michelin star restaurant prices were reasonable. Food was gorgeous - truffled cappacino of potato was the stand out part of a fantastic meal. For a special occasion this is a must go... More

Late arrival walk in for Lunch. Shown to the same table that I was seated at last time I dined here. Only 2 other tables, very quiet. Service as it should be, efficient, polite and professional. Only gripe was the sommelier, found it a little difficult to understand his strong accent. Opted for the 3 course lunch menu at £25.00... More

Visited Ocean restaurant for lunch with family (including a baby) over the bank holiday and could not have been more impressed. The service level was exceptional from start to finish, the waiting staff were invisible, polite and anticipated every need - could not have asked for more. Ordered a bottle of the Meursault (2009) off the wine list and they... More

My husband booked this as a surprise during a trip to Jersey and I wasn't disappointed. We were looked after from the minute we entered and the excellent service continued throughout the meal. The waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and very attentive. Myself and my husband ordered different meals and each course was a pleasure to eat. We... More

Our trip to Jersey included dining at a few special restaurants. Ocean is positioned in the beautiful Atlantic Hotel, very kind on the eye. We were greeted and looked after as you would expect from a quality restaurant. The food we received was good but not exceptional. Neither of us drink so I cannot comment on the price of wines... Push the boat out and try Oceans. It's very classy, the food's amazing and the service immaculate. It's not cheap but it's quite special. Beware the aperitif offered - 2 drinks set us back £36 as we didn't like to ask upfront how much! Still, it was a great experience and worth the visit.
