Arriving early I was shown the bar where gin & tonic in hand all the staff were friendly and courteous my booking was confirmed and the restaurant staff made their presence known to me, menus were presented and I was then left to my own devices until I was ready to enter the restaurant I chose the tasting menu with... Service and food outstanding. Deserving of its AA Rosettes and Michelin Star. Quite expensive but that is to be expected for this level of fine dining.

Every time we visit things only appear to get better at the Ocean Restaytf. The staff are extremely helpful, from the kitchen staff, who offered to help us with our bags on arrival to all the staff and cleaners who cannot do too much to help. The food was excellent , from the informal snacks to the full blown Michelin... More

This restaurant has beautiful views and the food is certainly very good, but the dining room, though very nicely decorated, lacked warmth and therefore atmosphere. We've eaten at 6 other Michelin starred restaurants and this doesn't stand out, but does conform and we did enjoy the experience.

Friends suggested this restaurant as a place to take a date out. Arriving as the sun was setting the views overlooking 5 mile bay were amazing and after a pre-dinner cocktail we went through to the pleasantly decorated dining room. Staff were very attentive and we were given a break down of each dish as it arrived. The food looked... More

My wife and I hadn't been to Ocean before, so we decided it was time and went with a couple of friends. I booked the table online, and the confirmation came promptly. When we arrived on the Saturday evening we were greeted politely and seated in the bar. We were a little early, so the bottle of Taittinger we used... More

This is definitely (for us) a special occasion place for a meal. The food and service was divine, but expensive. Really glad we ate here, but not something we would do regularly if we were local.

We decided to have lunch at Ocean for an Easter treat and we weren't disappointed. We had the set lunch which was excellent value at £25 for three courses and the food was stunning. I opted for the chicken liver parfait which was lovely and rich and creamy, followed by pork with the most delicious mini Apple tart tatin. I... More
