Wonderful service

We popped in on a very wet and blustery day to have a drink and peruse the menus. The taster menu looked amazing but in the end we decided to go for the a la carte. We were greeted warmly at the door and taken to a table to mull over the menu with a drink. Once we had decided... read more

This was the third restaurant for our michelin star experience in Jersey (having already eaten at Bohemia and Tassili - see separate reviews). The restaurant presented an elegant New England style decor, crisp white linen with All the tables being round which some how makes dining more sociable. Overall a real air of spaciousness. Shown to our table by the... More

This place is about quality not quantity. Excellent ingredients, carefully prepared and excellently presented and served. And the benefit of staying overnight is that attention to detail is as exactling over the breakfast as it is over the diner. Highlight for me though was the cheeseboard. An interesting choice and freedom to choose as much as you want. The best... More

The best restaurant I have ever eaten in. We opted to dine on there Tennerfest menu...And we were not disappointed! The crab risotto was delicious, followed by an equally devine salmon fillet! Unfortunately I was too full for dessert! Keep it up, and we will return!!

We were amazed at the gastronomic choices at the restaurant, everything locally sourced. Very impressed with the Taster Menu and the accompanying wines (we were spoilt for choice). Staff were amazing under the command of Martinho who glided across the restaurant with his amazing ties and quiet smile and guidance to the well drilled staff was a joy to see,... More

We had the benefit of 'half board' at the Atlantic Hotel which, for us, meant four dinners on successive nights in the Ocean restaurant. Each one was quite excellent for food quality and incredibly prompt, attentive and considerate service. We wondered if we might want to stray onto the a la carte menu, at a supplement, but the limited choice... More

Very warm welcome from the moment we entered the hotel. Quite formal dining but not overly so. Food was delicious and can see why it has a Michelin star. Would not normally lunch here but as it was Tennerfest we wanted to try it and were suitably impressed. Definitely 5 stars all the way.

Words can't describe how welcoming and charming the staff at this lovely dining room were, the food was delicious obviously prepared with great care and beautifully presented. A great dining experience, may only regret was that we weren't staying at the hotel which is lovely with great gardens and amazing views, certainly plan to return and stay there.

Beautiful looking location and food was served well, however disappointing taste wise. The wine was great but we were left unsure why has the Ocean has a star???
