After visiting a couple of other restaurants locally we decided to try here on our last night. What a lovely surprise. Food was lovely especially the tapas we had for starters. My toddler was well looked after staff very attentive. There is building work being done upstairs but we still had a lovely view across harbour.

Nice restaurant with great views overlooking the bay. Good service and tasty food. They were happy to make some changes to meals to fit dietary requirements. Would like more vegetarian options.

It a nice bar, we sat outside as for the weather it was the warmest day of our holiday in Jersey. They have a problem with the Gulls and have gone to great lengths to keep them off the external area, but they still fly over. We only called in for a drink and just sat people watching, its in... Having dined here before we returned for dinner on Sat 21st March. As the restaurant is closed I booked a table in the bar area. The bar was full and very noisy after the rugby so not the place for a quiet meal. We both had the parsnip soup which tasted like very sweet wallpaper paste. For the main course... More

Hi Espujois, Thank you for your review of The Boat House. Sorry to hear you did not have the most enjoyable experience with us. We were unaware that there was an issue with the parsnip soup, although as it is a naturally sweeter root vegetable this may have been why it tasted like a particularly sweet soup. We did personally... More

We had a very relaxed lunch on our last day in Jersey. Staff were very friendly service efficient. The tapas selection was interesting everything was well prepared and piping hot. Would definitely go back if only to see the modern building in all its glory once the painting is complete.

It's a busy open plan space and I knew that however what I didn't know was that they'd have both football and rugby on at the same time whilst diners were trying to converse! The kitchen closed at 2:30 and the moment that happened the sound was cranked up making it even more difficult to hear anyone speak! Just because... More

Hi LadyLoulou_13, Thank you for your review of The Boat House. We're sorry to hear that you didn't have a positive experience with us. It was a very hectic day in the restaurant due to England vs Ireland in the Six Nations and the Cup Final taking place. Went to the Boat House last week at lunchtime. The staff are very friendly and I had a really relaxed meal. Great value menu and i choose the pork belly as a starter which was really nice. I then had the Fish and chips for main course. Twelve pound for the two courses and I can highly reccomend it. Great... More

We went last Thursday with our daughter, son-in-law, and youngest grandson ! It's a fun place, always busy, and food is always better than you expect, which is a good thing. Crab on toast was a winner, pie of the week, fish and chips. Great bar area, contemporary feel, and lovely views...you feel you are on holiday !

Just loved the atmosphere and food in the Boat House. Very friendly staff and great cocktails. Visited several times and would definitely recommend both bar meals and restaurant
