We ate here twice during our stay in St Aubin. The setting is lovely (even when the tide is out) and light and airy. It was nice that for starters, in addition to the starters on the menu, you could order tapas which were an ideal starter size. The portions of chicken and chips were generous and the chips were... We regularly visit the Boat House when in Jersey, and it never fails to deliver. We dined upstairs in the newly refurbished restaurant (they had a fire last year), and it is very nice indeed. The fillet steak is excellent, and my wife had Sea Bass, which came whole, so she had the "de bone" it. The starter we had... More

Lovely family meal on the upper deck. Excellent service, especially with the children. Sons meal brought out wrong but he was happy with it so ate it anyway but they were apologetic. Batter on fish and chips was excessive, but very fresh fish. Overall v enjoyable meal.

I think it was expensive for what we had. £13 for a chicken caeser salad which lacked dressing, there was no parmesan on top and not a lot of chicken, I am glad I got a side order of chips. The other main was a sirloin steak at £18 it had rather a lot of gristle. Nice views but not... More

The food was very good but there were too many large groups booked all at once so our service was a bit slow and it became very noisy, it should be staggered as they clearly were under pressure. It would not stop me from returning as it has the most wonderful view (book a table on the outside for unrestricted... More
