Bit noisy, good food

Recommended to us by a local during a long weekend visit we visited on a Sunday evening finding it busy and a bit noisy for my liking. My wife loved it so just be aware that there is a young(ish) client demographic and a 'club' atmosphere within the Boathouse. If you like to eat in peace and quiet... read more

We were fortunate enough o be invited to the re-opening of the Boathouse after the devastating fire last year. The staff were so happy to be back and couldn't do enough for us. The food whilst very good before has gone up a notch and was excellent. The wine list has been extended and although the house wine was superb... More

Had a nice evening here, with the original intention of going elsewhere in St Aubin to eat after a couple of drinks. Decided to look over the menu and ordered some tapas which were quick to arrive and very nice. Will definitely do the same again another time.

Hi Tim_Ashton, Thanks for your review. Great to hear you enjoyed your visit and especially the food. As we've had the Upper Deck closed for refurbishment the downstairs has been louder than usual, however we are re-opening the upstairs this week so it will certainly reduce the noise levels! We hope to see you back again during your next visit.... More

Unpacked. Walked to this place and had the nicest fishcake ever. The rest was good too. I really wanted to go back but ran out of time.

Had the tapas and it was really good.A bit to much for one person to eat.ideal to share.Very tasty. The outside dining was very good as there was an area to sit out of the sun.

Try to avoid Sunday's as they reserve tables, which remained empty. The beer was OK and the food looked alright.

Hi Alan M, Thanks for your review. Once a table is reserved we have to keep it for a certain amount of time which is why it may have appeared empty, we're sorry that this affected your visit and we hope you do decide to visit us again. The Boat House Group management. More

We turned up as a group of 16 for lunch and were accommodated without difficulty. The food was great with a good selection of tapas, burgers, ciabattas and other meals available. A lovely location overlooking the harbour.
