This must be the best tennerfest going. We went midweek and the atmosphere was great. The food was fabulous as always. The staff were fantastically friendly and attentive as always. I would like to offer special thanks to Zoe Jayne and Michael who always make our visit fun, but actually all the staff are always great. If you haven't tried... More

Lovely meal out at boat house. Food was lovely so was the service. Lovely atmosphere in there. Had the tenner fest, rather normal menu but they gave us the option of both. Lovely in the summer to be able to sit outside. Be even better when upstairs is back open but don't let it being shut put you off until... More

Went here for tennerfest without booking was very busy but was shown to a table by a very helpful waiter. Three courses for £12.50 the food was amazing and as a bonus they had John Smiths bitter most of the pubs where I live have stopped selling it.

Went here for the Tennerfest 10 days ago and was once more very impressed with the level of service and excellent food. Don't let the so called improvements to St Aubin put you off from coming here. It is worth it. A special mention about the excellent and friendly staff, especially Kiriel. He is an asset to your business!

Visited here for Tennerfest and despite upstairs being out of action, I can honestly say we had a fantastic dinning experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious with good portions and it was great to relax and unwind overlooking the harbour. First class restaurant indeed.

Visited without booking during tennerfest and the place was very busy. We asked for a table and was told they were fully booked but will try and accommodate us if we fancied a drink first hike they rearranged tables and bookings. After less than 15 minutes we were shown to our table for a pleasant waitress. We had 3 course... More

The placement & location of this establishment is truly 1st class although I didn't entirely agree with it's modern architecture you can not be fooled by the panoramic view of St Aubin Bay... Most stunning. For the service however I was not at all impressed, layout of the bar and restaurant copied that of an English Wetherspoons chain, once I... More

Hi Scottydinesout, Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that the atmosphere had not been pleasant for you. My wife and I decided to eat in here on the first night of our long weekend in Jersey, which happens to coincide with the Tennerfest food festival / promotion. Three decent sized courses of quality, fresh and flavoursome food for £12.50 each, with quick and friendly service, overlooking the lovely harbour at St Aubin's, what's not to like? Despite... More

Most of the restaurants in St Aubins during week commencing 4th October were very quiet at night. However, despite losing the upstairs of this restaurant in September 2014 due to fire, the Boat House was buzzing, with great atmosphere. The organisational skills to achieve the level of service they did achieve, had to be admired. The service was speedy and... More

Hi David T, Thank you for your thorough review of The Boat House. We appreciate your kind comments regarding our service. We have been working very hard since the fire to ensure the standards stay the same. In regards to food, as you can imagine, we are not able to offer the same larger variety as before the fire. However,... More

Ideal location but very crowded and noisy - we obviously went at a bad time following their fire which destroyed the top floor a few weeks beforehand. Had a quick drink pre-dinner at another location in the village -

Hi AgathaBideford, Thank you for your review of The Boat House. Sorry to hear that you found The Boat House to be extremely busy.
