Perfect for us MAMILs

After a few hours on the bike I need a pick me up to keep me going for the next few. The food is good quality and fresh. It is south facing so you dont even get cold. Giro on Mamils.

This cafe is a must when out walking or cycling or even if you just fancy a delicious lunch out. Clodagh has lots to offer from cakes to soup and even a very tasty veg bake that she offers. Did I mention that everything is freshly made?? The staff are very friendly and are always on hand to recommend places... More

Great bike friendly deli: fresh sandwiches and delicious cakes. Super friendly stuff. Credit cards are accepted. Good for a quick bite!

I visit this cafe regularly and it's one of my favourite places in the area. The food is fresh and tasty and everything is homemade. The staff are always friendly and obliging. I always mean to just have some healthy soup or salad but the cakes are irresistible. There's a great range of teas and coffees as well. You can... More

We stumbled on this shop/cafe whilst passing through Glendalough and were very happy that we did. The choice of salads and special of the day which my husband sampled were really lovely. My son had a huge sandwich that kept him quiet for most of the day- good result! We didn't find any problems at all with the service, for... More

There is a logical reason why the Glenalough Green is busy and filled with cyclists every weekend, and it's not all location. Simply stated, the sisters who own the place (Clodagh and Phillipa, and sometimes Katy) are great cooks who make everything themselves and they treat their customers well. We went in for coffee and cake one day and soup... More

Nice cakes and fine coffee, not a bad place to sit in on a cold day. It over looks the millennium time capsule on the green.

This is a must see if you're coming to Laragh! Upon arriving there is always a warm greeting from all the wonderful women working. The salads, soup and sandwiches are all equally delicious. This is a real gem!

I've tried this place a good few times over the years and just find the older staff always unpleasant and unfriendly. Cyclists provide fantastic business to it but anyone I know who has used it has never had too nice an experience there. Food is fine, nothing special but some pleasantness would go a long way to improving the overall... More

Great coffee and great cakes - perfect for cyclists. Located in Laragh village at the junction of the Dublin road and the military road to Sally Gap and also handy for Wicklow Gap as well as the climb to Shay Elliott's memorial, this relaxed cafe impressed with its excellent coffee and wide choice of delicious cakes, even a dairy-free spiced...
