As a member of a walking group I have been lucky to have visited places near and far over the last ten years or so. The Wicklow Heather Restaurant is a place we have returned to many times. The reason is simple, you are assured quality food and plenty of it, that is fairly priced and locally sourced to be... More

We were lucky to get a reservation in the writers room in the busy Wicklow Heather House restaurant on St Valentines nite. The service was very friendly and the food very good. They had a four course Valentine special for a reasonable price. we very much enjoyed our evening at the Wicklow Heather House

The food at this restaurant is wonderful, the service is friendly and the decoration is amazing. I love all the first editions displayed in the dining area! Don't leave without visiting the first edition of 'Ulysses'! This is a true gem in the heart of Wicklow. Try the steak – it is some of the best I've ever tasted. It... More

We checked into the Heather House B&B on Friday the 13th of Febuary for a Valentines weekend. Just want to thank the restaurant manager Gee for looking after us so well. We were made feel so welcome. Food and service was excellent in the restaurant even though it was Valentines night and so busy! I could not recommend this B&B... More

After a romantic drive through Wicklow on valentines day. My partner and I stopped off at this restaurant which we had been to a couple of times previously taking a chance that we would get a table even though they were fully booked with it being valentines and all and they managed to give us a table. The staff provided... More

A lovely drive to Wicklow, wonderful walks and a lovely stop for Lunch. Welcoming staff and a good selection of wholesome meals for lunch on the daily menu. We chose the battered haddock, peas and chips. It was the lightest battered fish we have eaten for a long time.

I stopped off for dinner on a wet and cold afternoon . The food and wine were excellent. The staff rather friendly and welcoming . A little expensive but well worth the money. It was mid week so no problem in getting a table but can imagine it been difficult on weekends. I will be back again

Staying in the Glendalough Hotel but heard a lot of good story's of the food and attomsphere . Its 3:30 pm on a dull misty Wednesday afternoon and the car park shows there is life within the rustic walls. I'm greeted by a beautiful young lady who takes me to my table. I ordered the trout with Veg and Chips.... More
