We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary here last week (Mar 26) and had a good dinner. It was a Wednesday night and we hadn't made a reservation but there was still plenty of room when we walked in at 7pm. I'd recommend booking for weekends or in summer though. The staff were friendly and we loved the country atmosphere decor.... More

Ate here on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was heaving with locals and tourists alike. Seemed to deal with huge numbers well as we were seated fairly quickly. The food was nice albeit very plain (roast of the day, fish & chips etc). Service was good considering the numbers eating there.

Finally had a long due date night with the husband and we have both given up alcohol for lent so i said we would take the opportunity to go for a meal somewhere outside Wicklow Town. Well, we did not regret the drive to Laragh and will return very soon again. I had the best meal in a very long... More

We ate here last Saturday (14th March 2015). It was a cold night and a long enough drive from where we live. We drove through countless little villages and then nothing for miles - until we pulled up here. There hadn't been a single person to be seen on the way but when you open the doors to this place... We came here yesterday (St. Patrick's Day) and so did everyone else! We couldn't get a seat inside as we hadn't booked. We ate outside which was still nice. Food reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. Lovely country pub with delicious food. Will definitely come back at night (and book!) Also the toilets are beautiful and clean (important to... My boyfriend and I ate here on Mothers Day this year. We hadn't made a reservation but that wasn't a problem even though the place looked busy. No wonder it was busy; the food is amazing and the staff are excellent they really couldn't be faulted. We shared chicken pâté to start, had venison and beef for our mains with... More

After a long sight seeing trip around Wicklow we were starved. We wanted great food without the exuberant tourist prices. The Wicklow Heather offered this and more. Although they were so busy, the friendly staff found seating for us. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. The menu offered a great selection of food which was delivered speedily. Highly recommend.
