We went here yesterday for Mother's Day. I have wanted to eat here for a while and it seemed like the perfect excuse. The building itself is really unusual and quirky. From the minute we arrived the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The set menu for Mother's Day was €30 for three courses which I thought was extremely good... More

This place gets better all the time and is busy every night of the week. It's not cheap, but they do have an extensive early bird menu, if you get there by 6.30pm. A really great choice of food, and I haven't been disappointed yet. A definite highlight in the Greystones eating scene, and highly recommended.

The HUngry Monkey is a great restaurant near the beach with a very cozy atmosphere. It isn't expensive, you could easily have a 3 course meal for 30e.

We decided to eat here following a few recommendations. The look and feel of the place is nice - very helpful staff. We ordered scallops and woodpigeon for starters. Scallops were really well cooked bursting with flavour. The woodpigeon was also quite nice - having never had it before I didnt have anything to compare it to. For mains we... More

I visited The Bistro at The Hungry Monk on Friday last. I was taking two friends out to dinner. The food was excellent, the service prompt and efficient. We enjoyed decent wine and good coffee. We were the last to leave as we had a lot of each other's news to catch up on. I only visit Greystones occasionally now,... More

To say I was unimpressed with the quality of food here would be an understatement. To be fair, this restaurants reputation does preceded itself, and this is not the first time I have eaten here. However, my most recent visit left a sour taste in my mouth. I took my family here for a going away dinner, as I live... More
