Great food, service and setting 👏

My Wife and I were in this restaurant over the Christmas period. We were not impressed. The menu is somewhat limited. both of us had the sirloin steak which was tepid at best when served, tough and very fatty, we sent both steaks back, the same steaks came back to us heated up. I brought this to the waitresses attention,... More

Dear Michael B, It is very unfair to read the inaccurate account of your experience at the restaurant. Firstly, we never hear that the menu is limited for choice, and find that most customers cannot decide what to choose as there are so many options on the menu. Secondly, what you said about the waitress and her attitude is untrue.... More

A good place if you want a quiet place for a chat with friends. Food a little expensive, although very good. Staff friendly enough. Toilets spotless. I would visit again. Thank You!

My husband and I went for a meal here on Sunday and the food was lovely and the waitress was very friendly. We found it very reasonable. We went for the early bird menu which was great value :)

We both had steak, which was not over cooked, but had not been sealed on high heat so it lacked colour and flavour and looked boiled. The service was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. When it came to paying the bill, which was €50, we gave the young waiter 70 so we would have change for a tip.... More

The quality of food was excellent and I loved that everything was locally sourced. There was no vegetarian option available which was a bit of a disappointment as I went with my partner. The interior is decorated brilliantly as it makes for a relaxing atmosphere

Delicious homemade elderflower cordial!.. And that was only the beginning. Very good locally sourced food. Menu was creative and imaginative and reasonably priced and staff lovely. It was also the only restaurant in the area that was open on a Sunday afternoon. It will definitely be our choice next time as well.
