I have been lucky that a treat from himself involves good food at this restaurant. himself just adores the Pork Bely, every time, while myself will try to get the Special of the day, if any are left by the time we get in, no fault of the kitchen, just our timing, always friendly staff, specials are always interesting

Visited The Pigs Tale for the 3rd time last night (Tuesday night), and it was just as good as the 2 previous times we had been here. For starters we had the bruschetta and the pate. Both were fantastic. The topping on the bruschetta was so fresh and the pate was devine. Main courses were the Tomahawk chop and the... More

We had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so decided to give it a try. It didn't start well, being left standing at the top of the stairs which is the entrance to the restaurant for a few minutes wasn't great and followed by a few smart comments by the maître d', we thought to ourselves the... We are a family of 2 Adults and 2 children and we stopped for Sunday Lunch in an "empty restaurant" sat down to order only to be asked to move to another table as that was reserved with "no sign on it" We ordered spicy chicken wings very disappointing because of the no spice, children ordered pizza and fries for... Dear Deane2013, We are sorry that you felt the need to write this review after being at the restaurant recently. Your table was one of the first to arrive upon opening, so the restaurant was quiet but by no means empty as you stated. Empty or full however, this should have had no bearing on the quality of food or... More

The very first time we went to the Pigs Tale, we loved it and many times since, but in the past year the standards of the food has fallen and our visit on Saturday last was very disappointing. We both loved the new decor but then you can't eat the decor. We had potato skins to start, which were very... More

Dear paulandmary22, We are disappointed that you did not have another great meal with us. I feel the 2 stars were a bit unfair considering the only issue you seem to have had was with the burgers. As I always state, why didnt you let us know of a problem on the night? We take our constructive feedback very seriously... More

They were delicious. A nice portion and served promptly. All the staff were friendly and engaging. A visit here is not to be missed... More
