We stopped off on a Saturday afternoon and were quickly seated The girl serving us was friendly and efficient and I tucked into the most amazing black pudding starter ... Two big slices .... Followed by far too many prawns and a huge ice of banoffee pie.... Which was awful...NOT! We had an amazing view of the countryside Really good... More

Dropped into the snailbox on our way home from Dublin. It's very handy to get to and the views from up there are gorgeous. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who couldn't have been nicer. We obviously hadn't booked a table because we were just passing but he still accommodated us with one. The table... More

This is a great restaurant. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the food is amazing. Only problem is trying to get a table as it does be booked solid which is testament to the quality of food and service. Well worth a visit but book first.

Family visit we all had the burger. Burger with chips 17 euro. ( bit dear) Amazing feed. Kids meal was cheap and includes drink and ice cream which was massive with all the toppings. Handy to Tayto park and homely wee spot. Give it a go.

This is a nice pub with plenty of character but overpriced for the average food. Frozen chips and burgers that have been bought, not prepared. I had the burger with bacon. It was a strip of streaky bacon which was more fat than meat and made the burger a chore to eat, trying as I was, to avoid the stringy... More
