The food, service & staff were great. Will definitely return for another visit. ideal location, plenty of parking & if one doesn't wish to travel into either Ashbourne or Slane then and sure why would one when the Snailbox has it all.

Been many times. Always get the fillet steak. I've never had a negative word to say about this place. The food is always delicious and recommend it to anyone who isn't from the area. Great view if you get seated by the window in the restaurant.

Havent visited this restaurant for many years and found that it has changed a lot over the years. Very large extensions have been added but the decor remains warm and traditional with dark wood finish throughout which adds to the old time feeling about the place. Service was efficient and friendly with a good selection on the menu to choose... More

I had heard many good reports about it over the years and I have to say I wasn't disappointed at all. Despite been a very busy Saturday night, the service was pretty good with pleny of table staff and we were... More
