Really tasty home made food. Veg soup is fab. Had a lovely club sandwich. Presented on lovely wooden boards with toasted seeds. Didn't have a dessert but lots of fab options including g milk shakes!!! Great stop off point between Dublin and cork. Just off motorway

Dropped in with the family for some Saturday morning brekkie. I have to say that it's a bug bear of mine to find some decent breakfast in Naas but not anymore. Great service, super value ( coffee reduced with breakfast) superb quality and lovely atmosphere. Full Irish, pancakes, French toast, raisin toast, the whole 9 yards!! If you're in Naas,... More

We popped in for lunch on the way to Dublin, Johnstown is so handy to get to because it's less than 3mins off the motorway. I had Cottage Pie and my wife had Cod and Chips, both dishes were gorgeous and we got loads of food. The waitress was a lady called Mary and she couldn't be nicer or do... More

Ate here Monday. Place was extremely quite. We ordered soup spring roll burger and cod. Soup sour, spring roll frozen. Cod was soggy and greasy and burger was burnt. No apology from waitress when she cleared our plates....don't think she cared (nor did the chef). Extremely disappointed. By reading some of the other reviews I can tell this place has... More

Came here for Sunday lunch with my family. I had chicken wings for starters. There was no flavour whatsoever from them. Coating was soggy and wings were luke warm. I had turkey and ham for main course and the entire meal of salt! On the up side the staff were lovely but unfortunately I won't be back.

I came here today for lunch with my mother. Good atmosphere. Pleasant and efficient staff. Great value for money. Not great parking particularly for people in wheelchairs. Nice outdoor area for those who enjoy a smoke. We both had the chicken club sambo which was delicious. Didn't care for the chips. Wasn't impressed with the dessert choice. One very little... More

The food here is absolutely gorgeous. Whenever I come to the Johnstown Inn I never have a bad meal. My favourite thing on the menu is Cajun chicken, chicken done with red onion, red pepper and sweetcorn with a creamy cajun sauce. It is by far one of my favourite places to eat in Kildare. The only con is there... More

After moving to Naas recently, a friend recommended that I try this place for Sunday lunch. So my husband and I ate there last Sunday. To say the food was poor would be an understatement. For starters my husband had the soup and I had vegetable rolls. The soup was lukewarm and lumpy and my spring rolls were frozen in... More
