The food here is absolutely gorgeous. Whenever I come to the Johnstown Inn I never have a bad meal. My favourite thing on the menu is Cajun chicken, chicken done with red onion, red pepper and sweetcorn with a creamy cajun sauce. It is by far one of my favourite places to eat in Kildare. The only con is there... More

For starters my husband had the soup and I had vegetable rolls. The soup was lukewarm and lumpy and my spring rolls were frozen in... More

Parking is bad, Service was poor and staff all spoke there own language and looked p***ed off, no effort from them at all. Food was mediocre at best. Won't go back.

Very good food. The mushroom starter was delicious as was the deep fried Brie. Also delicious onions served with the steak. Good value. Good service. Pub atmosphere. Decor feels a bit tacky.

The Johnstown Inn is in a great location just off the motorway. The seating areas are extremely comfortable. The menu has something to suit everyone's taste. We keep coming back again and again.
