Lunch stop

Excellent spot off the motorway. Great menu choice and value. Staff very attentive and polite. Parking a little tight but worth the stop. Well recommend.

Should have been very straightforward, medium rib eye. Was well overdone. They handled it well by appologising and offering a replacement without a fuss. I just can't understand why they could get it wrong in an almost empty restaurant. There have been small changes to the menu but most items are deep fried and quite greasey. Super surroundings and great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Love the beer selection but really tired of the menu and dried up fried food.

There was an accident on the M1 and we left the motorway at Junction 9, we decided to have some food at the Johnstown Inn, it was a truly lovely mean and the staff could not be helpfull enough. A group of four adults and two children. We arrived around 4pm on a Saturday and it was nice and quiet. There wasn't too long a wait between ordering and getting the food. Was in nass for buisness was taken here by the company i was visiting for lunch for two days food was excellent on both days could'nt find anything wrong tasty and well presented staff were very friendly and place was very clean would recommend very much

I must say the place looks fab.Lived here in Johnstown over 10 years and we very rarely came here but happy to have returned.Food always consistent and now they have added some space by opening out bar.I hope people,Johnstown residents in particular give it another go.To those who don't go cause of the owners eccentricity,he's very rarely there and new... Several staff yapping away while we're kept waiting for our drinks.Young man then comes up to our table and says "drinks will be a few minutes,is that ok?!!!".Frustrating

Stopped off for lunch on route to cork. Excellent menu and value in food. Quick turnaround in order. Very good staff here and attentive. Would recommend a shout.
