Lunch or Dinner, always good

A family favourite which always delivers, we enjoy the Sunday Roast with 3 delicious options and half portions for smaller appetites. A la Carte options always good, never a disappointing choice yet. Good quality chicken gougons if that's what your kid likes and service always excellent.

We had 40 people and stopped for refreshments and they coped very well with us all. The food (sandwiches and finger food) was top notch with excellent service as well which is important with a group. It was a lovely evening in Johnstown Village too which helped with the atmosphere.

Went for a bite on Sunday with my sister and a friend two of us got battered cod. The other the madras. All very tasty. Big portions of fish and mash, but no taste was sacrificed. Really cosy surroundings, spacious and colourful decor makes it more appealing. We also had the hazel nut meringue, which was Devine. Teas and coffees... More

Three of us dined here last Sunday, and we were all really pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. We all had Turkey with herb stuffing, Ham, Roast Potato, Roasted Vegetables, mashed potato and gravy. Perhaps less salt could have been added in the cooking, as the salty taste was a bit more than we all would have... More

10 months since we last visited but really if there was an award for most improved restaurant and bar Johnstown inn would get it. First of the menu is outstanding, from asian food to fine dining it has everything. It is evident that they care about food. Another thing they have done is made it desirable to stay on after a meal...
