We had a sales dinner the last night they were open, The steaks were a little tough and flavorless. Greenbeans are greenbeans. One plain roll per person. Salad is bag lettuce. I would think they would go all out but maybe it was due they were already officially closed when the dinner was planned a year ago Most attending were... More

We have visited The Chop House and gave it very good reviews, but not for this visit. It's really to bad because the establishment offers great ambiance, it just too bad that the food is not up to the standards that they have created in the past. We went with some a friends who live in the area and they... More

A group of parents of went out together after the kids went to the prom. The chief cat herder of this foray made reservations at the CASTLE HEIGHTS CHOP HOUSE (I think the name has changed). First, the positive things. We had a group of 16 +/-. We had a semi-private room. I thought the menu was appropriately varied. They... More

We made reservations here for New Years Eve. I have eaten here twice before; once was a banquet and it was good and once was their brunch and it was good. So I had good expectations. When we arrived, they had a "special" menu for the occasion. I felt it was way overpriced and the selection was very much lacking.... More

This restuarant sits on the historic site of Castle Heights Military Academy in the old Comandant's house. The atmosphere is great and the food is also the best around. Steak and fish seem to be the crowd favorites. The entire restuarant is covered with old pictures of former cadets, some who are now famous and otherwise. The bar is very... More

Met friends here for a casual supper which was superb. The green fried tomato and seafood appetizers were excellent, but my rib-eye was the hit of the evening. You don't have to drive into nearby Nashville to have a wonderful evening.

Local professionals love this watering hole where it is chic to see and be seen. James, the iconic bartender is reason enough to hang around. The foods good too!

Great building and history. Three of us ordered different entrees. All were fair to good but none were great. Salad bar and bread with every meal. Staff was good and friendly. Cheap store bought wine sold for $30+???? Order their carrott cake, its enough for 4 people for $6.

This is a quiet little restaurant located on the old Castle Heights property. The food is excellent. They have wonderful steaks and seafood. There is a nice little salad bar. The service is always great. It is never overly crowded except for valentines day so make reservations! It is a great place to celebrate anniversaries & holidays. It would be... More

Let me preface by saying we ate here a few months ago for dinner and it was very, very good. 5 of us took mom out for her 86th bday today. . .it was the Sunday brunch buffet. EVERY single item on the buffet was disgusting. The pancakes HAD to be cut with a knife. Gloppy and hard. Strange combination,... More
