Great Food, Great Prices

Went for an anniversary dinner on a Wednesday night. No reservations accepted for groups of under 12 people and we were only 10. Arrived at 6:45 and seated immediately. Everyone ordered something different, from the catfish to the prime rib and everyone thought their meal was great! Prices were... read more

This place is very dated in every way. Don't go expecting anything but a slab of meat which might be cooked the way you like it IF you spend a LONG time telling the server just what that is -- don't just sady the usual "medium rare" or you will be disappointed. Same old sides; same old place. I do... More

We had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated.( Party of 4 not bad) However, after being seated it took 20 minutes to have a server take our drink order. It was very busy. A simple hello, or i will be with you in a minute would be nice. We should have left. My elderly mother had been wanting... More

If you like good food with a view. This is the place to go they have seafood and steak and anything you want. They have been open since 1958 you can't get no more consistent than that.

We have been there before but this was very good! They had gotten rid of their old booths and had tables! We had a wonderful server namedJean. Very efficient. They do not have a liquor license but you can bring your own wine and alcohol no beer! No uncorking fee, reasonable prices

Cherokee Steak house serves fantastic salads that are super fresh with home made dressings. Marvelous steaks and pork chops. Excellent rolls and Great service. Can be very crowded at peak times but it is worth the wait.

Run down restaurant, too close together seating, and bland food. My husband got a New York strip, very plain. I ordered fried shrimp, it was the equivalent of captain ds shrimp, fries were tasteless and not seasoned. Grilled shrimp had flavor alright, thats where all the salt went. Tarter sauce tasted like cocktail. Glasses were tiny and needed refilling way... More

I ate at the Cherokee Steak House last night and I really enjoyed it. It is definitely a casual place, food was great and our waiter was very pleasant and helpful. I was a little apprehensive with the reviews but glad I went, would definitely go back again. I had the steak dinner and tried a friend's catfish, both were... More

My husband and I have eaten here many times. I agree with some other reviewers that the former dining room set up was less noisy. My husband is a steak eater and he has always said that the steak is great for steak at a $13 price point. He's never complained. I love the fried catfish. They cook it perfectly;... More

In the main dining room, they have removed the booths down the center to be able to add and combine tables to accommodate larger groups. This has added to the noise level. We were seated near a group of about 20 and they were talking loudly from one end of the tables to the other. This made other groups speak... More
