Good food, exactly what we were looking for cannot fault it one bit, also very nice deserts, service was a bit slow but it was expected, the steak was delicious but was very pricy! Would defiantly visit here again

Casual food, pub style, pretty good overall. Fish and chips were prepared in a crisp batter, generous portions. Service was very friendly although a bit slow.

We stopped for a bite to eat here and we were NOT disappointed! It is without a doubt one of the best places we have ever eaten in! From the exterior it is a thatch pub and very old fashioned on the inside but the food is just amazing and on a hot day you can have a drink out... More

Nice decor and friendly barman. I ordered a steak and glass of wine, the steak was fine, everything else on the plate was undercooked, the mushrooms, onions and especially the chips. When you're charging 25 euro for a steak, I'd expect a chef to be able to cook chips. The place was quiet, there's no excuse.

We ate here recently, on a trip to Galway for a family visit. There was just two of us and our order took the longest of the three groups sititng in our area. Two families came after us and were served their food first. The food was good but nothing to write home about. The room was cold and quite... More

We went for lunch here recently. We shared the chicken wings for starters - they are delicious big buffalo wings served with side salad - there are enough wings for two to share. We both decided to have the steak sandwich. Overall it was good but there was minimal amount of steak and it was not great quality - "very"... More

Not often you get away for two nights without the kids so expectations were high when we went to Clarenbridge for dinner on Friday 8th Feb. We had Crab claws, chicken wings as starters. Monkfish and delicious accompanying potatoes au gratin for my wife. I had a rib eye steak which arrived overcooked, I'd asked for medium rare. However it... More

There is somethinge of an oldworld feel as you walk into Paddy Burkes-of course this place is very old it has great character ,The high counter suggests that very little has changed here for many years-thank god. The service is really good and friendly with fab food, Steak was really good . My partner said the Guinness was good. We... More
