We stopped here for our last meal in Ireland before heading to the airport, and wanted fresh seafood and something traditionally Irish, and with atmosphere. This was a winner in every aspect. We started with oysters ( both natural, and Rockfeller) and they were excellent. The oysters Rockafeller were the best I can recall ever having. The panko baked mussels... More

Some restaurants deserve to thrive, this is undoubtedly one of them. I dropped in recently for a pub lunch. The staff were warm and welcoming I forgot my reading glasses in the car but a very helpful staff member was more than willing to read the menu for me. I settled for the roast lamb. It was mouth watering as... More

We have stopped at Paddy Burke's a couple of times when we were traveling to Galway. It is ok, but not anything special. The atmosphere is nice and the food and service are good - just didn't have the WOW factor for us.

Paddy Burkes is basically an institution - but in my opinion is overrated. The interior is very worn and tired and needs a bit of love. The staff need a bit of finesse and customer service could be better. The food is pub food and is ok - I ate here recently and ordered the chowder and the trio of... More

Usually stop to eat here when travelling from Cork and the food is always good with good variety on the menu and large reasonably priced portions

Called in on spec as I was passing. Very busy on a friday but was shown a table quickly and enjoyed a good soup and open prawn sandwich. Excelent food, well served.

A very beautiful place. Kitchen always open, good seafood and affordable prices. Very large menu, with soup, mussels and other, you can choose between wine and beer.

Very tired and worn interiors and uncomfortable seating in bar area. Service wasn't great and we ended up chasing staff for our bill despite the place being quiet. The food was very disappointing with little effort in prep and presentation. Very slap dash. Won't be returning!

Driving from Ennis to Athlone in a campervan, it's difficult to find good parking and good food.... We found both at paddy burkes... We stopped for a bowl of chowder and we were not disappointed! Fish of every type ... Including Mussels, clams and a huge creamy oyster... We loved every bite... Thank you!
