Our party of 4 recently dined here , restaurant was no way busy with a total of 16 including our party dining We were waiting nearly one hour for 3 starters, when we raised this to the server we were told there was only one person working in the kitchen!!!!! Starters were nice but hunger is a very potent sauce,... More

My wife and I started our weeks Irish holiday with an overnight stay at Redbank B&B. I found this through booking.com and the price was very affordable. We were greeted by the owner, Terry, a very charismatic and charming host. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We decide to stay for dinner rather than walk the streets of... More

Myself and hubby revisited this wonderful B&B last night, we booked for the early bird menu and Terry the owner greeted us and showed us to our room. We dined at 8pm ( no problem with slight change to time as the restaurant was quiet) Once again we were treated to the most kindest and warmest of service by Terry... More

Seriously good food and if you're a seafood lover like myself well then you're in heaven. We normally go on Sundays as they have a special menu which includes starters, main courses, desserts and tea/coffee. The only criticism is the price, even on the set menu there's a supplement charge for nearly everything, but if you appreciate good seafood its... More

We had very relaxing stay at The Redbank. From our reception by owner/chef to our breakfast the following morning we could not have been better looked after.

Without exception, this is the most drab, depressing, outdated and old fashioned interior I have seen in a long time. It is also the most expensive restaurant we have been to in a very long time, so why is that? When most other restaurants have reduced their prices, or amended their menu, And upped their game, the Redbank has done... More

On walking into the restaurant you get the feeling that this place has seen better days - it looks dated, a bit old fashioned and in need of a major redecoration. Menu is interesting enough but quality of food is variable - some dishes were wonderful eg mushroom starter but others were disappointing - crab starter is dull and dry... More

See my review for Redbank Guesthouse. My comments there cover both the Guesthouse and Restaurant. Mr. McCoy is a perfectionist chef who will share how he makes each dish if you ask.

Nice food and fresh if a little heavy and butter laden. The alcohol prices need to reflect reality. The service is excellent and it does what it says on the packet.
