Visiting Dublin over the Easter weekend and after a trip to the beach in Killiney decided to have lunch in The Queens. I love this place especially in the summer. We had real Irish food as the special and it was a joy. I had the corned beef, colcannon and parsley sauce. Herself had the fish pie. Couldn't believe she'd... More

My wife and I went to The Queens on a great sunny day. The place was very busy but we found a table outside (even though the tables were all placed very closely, it was pretty packed). Ordered the Steak On A Stone with fries and 3 dips. I don't remember having steak on a stone before but it was... More

It was our last night after a weeks worth of traveling. We did the Four castle tour. We had fun seeking out restaurants we felt locals would eat at. We feel we hit the jackpot here with the yummy food, fantastic service and atmosphere. Sean the chef came out to check on us. Loved the conversation and food. I had... More

Used to go to the Queens years ago and re-visited nearly 30 years later....Food to me is typically PUB and the service similar..the Pain was this woman who is either an owner or manager being over familiar with the customers and over indulging bequeathing her non requested advice on the various dishes on the menu and then talking and talking... Went to Queens today for some lunch & drinks. Arrived early & got our seat , food ordered , arrived & was lovely, however during our main meal the place got busy for the football match & then all went to disaster. After each course - a grey plastic container was shoved onto our table for us to place our... More

On our way home from the parade we decided to stop here for an early bird. We had walked the city and were dog tired and had nothing decent to eat all day. We resisted all the expensive fast food that was on offer at the parade so we were hank marvin'! We had a lovely surprise here with 2... More

I ate here after a walk in the cold and rain. The service was prompt and efficient. Inside was warm. I had a burger and home made chips. The burger was great. I don't eat chips that often, but they were the best I've had in some time. Would happily go back.

One of my sons offered to take us out for a belated joint birthday dinner here; he was anxious that we try the 'steak on a stone', even though we joked about having to cook our own meal! Well, he was absolutely right in his choice! Even though it was a cold and miserable Tuesday night, the restaurant was fairly... More

Travelling to the RDS from Belfast by train we decided to get an all day ticket on the dart, Dalkey was a highly recommended stop for a bite to eat & a coffee, & what an absolute delight we found in seeing the Queens steak room. Greeted when we entered the beautiful & cozy pub/Resturant by very friendly staff, she... More
