Food is terrible. Service is terrible. Recent refurbishment done little to improve food - although bar trade has stepped up with rise of thug-trade. Can't decide if it is a bar or a restaurant and has run out of ideas. Toilets always dirty and draught beer will make you ill. Given it's sister restaurant around the corner (CBs) is very... More

Came here on a Wednesday night. There was only about 10 people in the premises. We sat In the lounge area at the counter. There was a lot of staff on and one big girl in particular had a very foul mouth behind the counter. As we were eating another waitress came to take our plates we had to tell... More

Been many times and food good and atmosphere nice. Recent alterations boxed off an area like a snug and the diners were pushed down to the end room. Food, menu and service was mediocre on our last visit. Recent promo is to tear up a bill every night...I still have not seen this happen. It's not transparent. Pity.

First review I have ever written. I feel so strongly that I have to say it was awful. Last time I was in this restaurant it was Christmas Eve and was utterly appalling. I swore I wouldn't return but my daughter and I were returning from an active day in Wicklow. Both v hungry and I thought of the normally... More

Everything. Food, service, drink, quality, price. Start to finish & top to bottom. Best Pub Best Bar Best place in Dublin 15 by a mile. Change out of €5 note for a pint. What more could you ask for :-)

I hate saying it but the smoking area is like a playroom for adults. It is brilliant. Tv's on three of the walls so you could see all matches from anywhere, pool table, table football and loads of seats. The only setback is the smoke!!!! The restaurant food was gorgeous. Crab claws, pate, ribs and mushrooms on toast all a... More

Table of 2, pil pil prawns and chicken wings to start, both good. Burger with Blue cheese and Chicken Kiev as mains, served with a garnish of sour , warm, coleslaw. How dangerous is that ? Burger meat had a sweet and sour flavour and soft texture that tasted like no burger I have eaten before, didn't chance it. Chicken... More

We had been there twice before and on both occasion left very pleased with the experience.. so when my gf and I decided to return there again last night, we knew exactly what we wanted from the menu. Unfortunately we discovered the menu had changed since our last visit and our meal was not available anymore. I have to say,... More

First and Last visit, image portrayed and reality very different. Biggest problem was the food, equivalent to ready made meal quality at best. Music was sooo bad, sounded like bad 70s cabaret music, between the two we left to get our desert course and drinks elsewhere. Menu was no better than a typical pub but at high restaurant prices. Service... More

I went to this restaurant with 5 friend's. We rarely get out together so were really looking forward to it. The food was very plain, the staff were rude and we were overcharged for three bottles of wine. The manager dealt with it disgracefully, and didnt seem sorry that this had happened at all. Further more after writing an email... More
