We came here to try due to a Groupon. It was a cool little spot would recommend eating outside inside echoes. For Apps we had Deviled Eggs with Avocado (missed pkls in them) and stuffed mushrooms (crispy bread crumbs coating) both were great. For the entree the SFC grass feed burger was great but, the sauce on it was ok.... More

You really do feel that you are in an upscale and special place. My opinion is due to both the atmosphere and the service. The food is good, but overpriced in spite of the uniqueness of menu selections. It is worth a stop by even if just for an appetizer and drink.

This place considers itself an upscale & hip drinking establishment. The cocktail and wine lists are interesting and seem to be reasonably priced. The draft beer selection is poor. The food menu is really pathetic. They have a dozen or so appetizers (small plates), two salad offerings, and a half dozen or so sandwiches. Bar food only; no real entrees... More

This place is good for having a drink when you are barhopping. However, one drink is pretty pricey so we never stay there for very long.

We ended up here totally by mistake however what a find. We were taking out a group of our sons college friends and needed a table for 10. Unfortunately there was a lot going on this weekend and we were unable to obtain reservations or a restaurant willing to accommodate our group. We walked in to Sapphire and they said... More

We went to the restaurant, got seated at 6:40 pm, the restaurant was busy some people there, the waitress ask for the drinks and by the time we brought them we order the food. Never see the waitress again, we have tickets for the Nutcracker at 8 pm, the food arrived at 7:40, almost and hour to get it....waiting, and... More

We went in for a night cap with guests from Atlanta and were taken aback by the servers poor attitude from the get go. She walked away in mid conversation of our order...hello?! Then it took 10 minutes to get our drinks and it was NOT busy. My friend tried the "craft cocktail-Sassy A## and it was horrible-we all took... More

Sapphire is one of Downtown Knoxville's treasures! The interior is very elegant, furniture comfortable, drinks well made, food delicious and the service is the best in this city. You will not be disappointed!

Our dinner group met at Sapphire for November. We have all been here on other occasions, separately for most part. As a bar while munching on small plates it's pretty good. As a restaurant with a group not so much. We had reservations so they knew a group of 10 would be there. The tables were not completely ready for... More

If you don't like LOUD music, leave before the DJ comes in. Otherwise, it was perfect. The staff is very attentive and professional, and we got to eat in one of the display windows. If you are nostalgic for old downtown Knoxville, you will love it.
