First and Foremost--The pizza was very good and all the staff VERY nice!! The Palace is designed for Carry-Out or to eat a pizza in your car. Cash only. Poor, slow service, not friendly. After a 20 minute wait, told no cards for mediocre food. We won't be back.

Pizza in Knoxville West Knoxville lies west of the city's downtown area. It stretches from Sequoyah Hills on the east to the city's border with Farragut on the west. West Knoxville is concentrated around Kingston Pike. Not far from the Turkey Creek shopping complex is I Love NY Pizza. Founded by a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Ted... More

While visiting friends in K-town, we ordered take out pizza from P.P.....it was simply superb! Wish we had a pizza place like this where we lived. The Greek salad and the large house salads were immense and we were in foodie heaven. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I moved to Tennessee almost a year ago and have been searching high and low for a good pizza. Well, we finally found it! We live in Sevierville and this is by far the best pizza in the whole entire state!! We opted to eat inside which was a little cramped but well worth it, next time... More

Best pizza in the area! It is closer to European style pizza than any other I have eaten in this area. The crust, cheese and sauce are the best. Add whatever you want after that. The drive-in style is the first I have ever seen for a pizza restaurant. You can place your order and eat in your car is... More

First time to eat here and will most definitely be back. It's a little old looking outside but I would call that nostalgia. This restaurant /drive in has been around for a long time in Knoxville. Don't expect to walk in and sit down, it's not about the dining experience. It's all about the Pizza. The crust is just chewy... More

My first trip to the Pizza Palace was in 1965 and courtesy of the late Knoxville Police Department Traffic Division Sgt. Joe Anderson. Anderson, who would later be promoted to Captain, was a veteran KPD officer. A strapping 6'6" WWII veteran -- he walked with a limp courtesy of some German he met one evening in France -- Joe knew... You must go to the Palace. You never know who you'll see there. As the name suggests, the pizza is a focal point. However, they have great sandwiches and salads...and their spaghetti is legendary. If none of that sounds good, there's always the steak in a sack. But let's face it...no matter what you get, if you don't get an... More

This is a cool looking shout out to yesteryear. A drive in pizza place thats been open since the sixties. I didn't realize this before I called in an order to go pick-up, or I would have gone for the drive-in experience. The pizza crust is a hand tossed, slightly thicker than thin crust pizza. The sauce is some of... More
