Wonderful little spot for lunch

We frequent this spot often and have never had a bad experience. Buffet is always delicious and plentiful. Coffee and cookies for an afternoon snack, mmmm...

They say you can't go home again and I found this out to be true after visiting the Northshore after a three year absence. I was very excited about the prospect of dining here once again since moving to California. I had to choose between the daily special, which was pork schnitzel and my old favorite, the bouillabaisse. I went... More

We first ate at the Northside Brasserie 3 years ago when we were passing thru Knoxville. Our visit was so pleasant that we went there again when we were staying nearby. The atmosphere is very Bisto-ish, but a little loud. However, the food is great and reasonably priced. My wife went with the special of the evening which was Beggars... More

Out running errands, great place to run in for a quick, quality lunch (or to linger if you want). Server was friendly and fast to bring warm delicious bread. Always greeted courteously. Can't beat the quality, and variety for a mere $10!

Went for lunch on Friday. Buffet was very nice - clean, orderly, tasty, well-stocked...all the things you want it a buffet...plus it was interesting! We tried things we'd not tried before, and it was really good. We will go back for dinner on evening and order off the menu. Everyone was really attentive and friendly. The kitchen was spotless. Another... More

The food and drink was superb, and our table server, Ian, was very knowledgeable, hospitable, and the perfect waiter!

I ran in for quick lunch today and opted to sit at a high-top table across from the bar. The bread was warm and fresh, the service was spot on, and the lunch options were again top notch. My only complaint was the fish dish was a little dry. But overall, a very nice lunch. I plan to go back... More

Let me start off by stating our first visit was on Valentine's day and we may try this place again on a less "stressful" day. This was a huge disappointment since this place was highly recommended by our friends and unfortunately happened on this day. Our reservations were for a table in the bar at 9:00 pm (as opposed to... We came on a Saturday night. We had made reservations, and glad we did, because it was busy. We arrived a half hour early and waited in the bar. Nice bar, very prompt service, excellent selection of top quality bourbons and single malt scotches. We were seated precisely on time, which was a nice touch. They served King Crab legs... More

The mussels are divine, whether Pernod or Provençal. The gourmet cheeseburger is the best in town, as are the pommes frites. The wine list is small but well focused, emphasizing French and Cali. Service is excellent. My only gripe is that the room is quite noisy and the bar even more so. Ask for a banquette in a corner.
