Another great lunch at Northshore Brasserie

I ran in for quick lunch today and opted to sit at a high-top table across from the bar. The bread was warm and fresh, the service was spot on, and the lunch options were again top notch. My only complaint was the fish dish was a little dry. But overall, a very nice lunch. I plan to go back... read more

Let me start off by stating our first visit was on Valentine's day and we may try this place again on a less "stressful" day. This was a huge disappointment since this place was highly recommended by our friends and unfortunately happened on this day. Our reservations were for a table in the bar at 9:00 pm (as opposed to... We came on a Saturday night. We had made reservations, and glad we did, because it was busy. We arrived a half hour early and waited in the bar. Nice bar, very prompt service, excellent selection of top quality bourbons and single malt scotches. We were seated precisely on time, which was a nice touch. They served King Crab legs... More

The mussels are divine, whether Pernod or Provençal. The gourmet cheeseburger is the best in town, as are the pommes frites. The wine list is small but well focused, emphasizing French and Cali. Service is excellent. My only gripe is that the room is quite noisy and the bar even more so. Ask for a banquette in a corner.

I have been a fan of this restaurant since it arrived in Knoxville. When opened, service and food were top notch with real care taken however my recent experience left me pondering the future of the place.. A late lunch as a celebration for my birthday brought us a buffet (sort of interesting but not all that special), a waiter... More

We were celebrating our 10th anniversary so we wanted to go someplace special. We spent almost an hour searching online but nothing seemed right. After looking at the menu for Northsore Brasserie and reading the reviews, we made our reservations. The foie gras melted in our mouth and the Duck Confit was cooked perfectly. We will definitely return soon to... More

Yesterday was the first time we had eaten at Northshore Brasserie. A friend, my husband and myself were there at about 12:30 and had the lunch buffet. The price was under $10.00 and including the drink. We enjoyed 2 types of salad and several other cold items. From salad, soup, vegetables, chicken, shrimp, fresh fruit and cookies. It is not... We celebrated a friend's birthday with a nice lunch at Northshore Brasserie. As usual, the service was prompt and friendly, the buffet was excellent with plenty of variety: grilled chicken, blackened salmon, fresh salads, delicious chocolate chip cookies, soft bread with flavored butter, fresh fruit salad and lobster bisque. You simply can't go wrong here!

We had a large group and they handled us very very well. We were seated immediately and orders taken promptly and food brought out quickly. At least half of us ordered off the menu and approximately half ate the buffet. I had the onion soup which was absolutely fantastic. I also had a BLT with a small salad. I could... More
