The Brasserie is in a strip mall on Northshore across from Krogers. We were first introduced to it by our real estate agent when moving to town. As a neighborhood restaurant we have come back a number of times. It reminds one of a little French restaurant and even serves profitteroles for dessert. It has daily specials which are great... While visiting family in Knoxville, we went to the restuarant for dinner. We neglected ti make reservations and had to take a table in the bar area. Its was criwded and took a whioe for our server to come by. She got our drinnks and then asked us if we wanted to move to a larger table in the bar... More

We go here regularly and are always happy we did. Chef comes up with something unique each time we ask for vegetarian entree. Have an abbey ale and leave room for dessert. Not cheap, but worth the splurge now and again. Ate in the bar area for the first time because of large corporate party. Was a bit cramped, but... More

Never having visited Knoxville before, I decided to give this restaurant a try. I am not sorry I did. If you like escargot try their version: delicious and a huge serving in a skillet with onions and mushroom and, of course, the usual garlic sauce. The steak frites was fantastic. I highly recommend. I was here for dinner 6/24/2015.

I had an early lunch here and was a bit nervous when I saw the buffet, but was thrilled when I saw they did omelet's all day long. The service was a bit awkward, but he got the job done. The food was great and I highly recommend the duck hash with your omelet.

They say you can't go home again and I found this out to be true after visiting the Northshore after a three year absence. I was very excited about the prospect of dining here once again since moving to California. I had to choose between the daily special, which was pork schnitzel and my old favorite, the bouillabaisse. I went... More

We first ate at the Northside Brasserie 3 years ago when we were passing thru Knoxville. Our visit was so pleasant that we went there again when we were staying nearby. The atmosphere is very Bisto-ish, but a little loud. However, the food is great and reasonably priced. My wife went with the special of the evening which was Beggars... More
