Nice loft type restaurant with a descent selection of brews. I had the grilled tuna blackened which was cooked to perfection. Sampled 4 brews which were ok but nothing to Bragg about.
I should have worn orange, I'd have fit right in! Lots of locals in here, they make their own beer. Dinner was good, huge portions. We had to wait for a table, but not for long. Right in the heart of downtown.
Love this place. The food and craft beer are great. We have visited several times in the last few years while visiting UT, and it has been consistently good every time. We have tried the burger, pizza, wings and burrito....all very good. The atmosphere is lively, with a ground floor and upstairs balcony seating area. Really nice selection of craft... More
Their beers are made there, but not that great. The atmosphere of the restaurant is loud, but has a fun vibe. The food is American fare, and it's pretty good stuff. This place is a pretty good backup if where you want to go in market square is a bust.
This is a very popular place on weekends. The menu offered a number of different items to choose from. Beer is the main draw and what raised my rating to above average. The dinner items we ordered were good (not great). The service and atmosphere was good. If you are in the area stop in and give it a try... More
I don't consider DG&B to be anything too special, but it is a nice place to get a beer with friends if you are in the area. The food is average, and so is the service/atmosphere, however the draw is that they do brew their own beer and it's tasty.
It was a fun place to go but very packed. Was the place to be to watch football. They have a great Happy Hour there and the beer - I had the ALT and my husband had the Porter. Loved them both! Not a very good wine selection - Kendal Jackson was the best so go there and drink the... More
A trip to Knoxville cannot happen without a meal at the Downtown Grill and Brewery! Here you'll find some unique beers, wonderful appetizers, and great entree creations.
Stopped in for dessert and it just happened to be happy hour. Appetizers were half price so we went with the Philly Cheese Steak pizza. It was DELICIOUS! Thin crispy crust and full of flavors. I had the cheesecake and he had some chocolate dessert. They were both delicious. We will definitely be back!
We were in town to visit family for Christmas. We made a decision to go to The Downtown Grill & Brewery on Christmas Eve. We did not make a mistake! A very nice brewpub with a good selection of beers. The food menu was broad enough to please everyone in our group. The service couldn't have been any better. I... More
