We had never been to any of the locations in this Southern chain. Our hotel recommended it, and since it was fairly close and we were tired, we gave it a shot. We were really glad we did. This was described as a little above Applebys (I haven't been in one of these for years, and then it wasn't by... More

Food was terrible......I don't get it....this is not Italian. Food was mediocre at best and the bar drinks were awful.

Stayed at La Quinta and Puelo's was across the street. We received a coupon from the registration clerk so we tried it. The service was OK and the food was good. Tried the fried green tomatoes recommended by another reviewer. I liked the tomatoes but really liked the grits and gravy that came with them. I also tried the shrimp... More

Puleo's operates several restaurants in East Tennessee. I usually go to the one off I-40 at Strawberry Plains Pike. The food is excellent - lasagna is delicious - the service is very good and the value is hard to beat. You can have a very good sit-down meal for $20 and feel you've done well for yourself.

Two things that you must try here are the shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes. Really all of the food choices are good. I had them cater a wedding and everyone that came loved the food. Good solid unique restaurant.

The waitress was good at her job but she couldn't cook the food unfortunately. I ordered turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes. My food was lukewarm at best but the potatoes tasted like they came out of a box. My meal was terrible! Won't go back. Very disappointed in this restaurant.

I was so disappointed after paying almost $50 for an appetizer and 2 entrees. We got the spinach artichoke dip which was your average dip of its kind. It was hot so that was a plus. My partner got the turkey and dressing with a side of mashed potatoes and a small cup of cranberry sauce. The turkey and dressing... More

I do not like to tell people that they need to do their job better. It is not, after all, my job, but theirs. That aside, it is difficult when their job makes for a bad start to a place where I know I can get a really, I mean, really, good meal, it makes me wish I could have... More

Our first warning was at about 11:30AM on a Sunday the parking lot was nearly empty. But we were hungry and had eaten here before. So we ventured in. The food was stale and dried out. For the price we paid I had hoped for better, expected better and actually paid for better. Just for grins I decided to try... More
