We've been here a couple of times and the food and service have been great. It has a charming feel and the owner is always in and out of the dining area (which is always a good sign) delivering food, filling waters and chatting with patrons. Salads, sandwiches and desserts are tasty and they have an old school soda fountain.... More

This is a great place to eat across from a large park. I highly recommend the seven layer salad and half a sandwich combo!

I found this restaurant online in the spring of 2013, but I didn't get try it out until December 2013. I've ate there three times since December and it is always amazing!! The first time I went I tried their Crab Cake Sandwich it is a Charleston crab cake fried golden brown served on grilled sourdough bread. Then it is... More

Tried this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. It's a small, lovely little soda fountain with an extensive menu. There are only about 6 table on the street level, with a few more tables upstairs. Soda fountain seats about 7. The three of us had the egg salad melt, the tuna salad melt on grilled wheat-berry bread and a grilled... More

Wanted something specific to the area and this didn't disappoint. They have combo so half a sandwich and salad was the perfect serving size. The egg salad sandwich and Waldorf salad were awesome and my friends got the club and seven layer salad and they loved it. The service was good and three convos was under $40. So glad I... More

This is a small, cozy, place with excellent food. We had a Mother's Day meal here (the Saturday eve., before) for 8 people. We were seated in the upstairs room, which has only two or three tables, so it made for an intimate, semi-private setting. They play no background music and there's no TV so it was easy to talk... We have eaten here for years. The choices are extensive. Everything is good. The Sunday brunch is excellent. Service can sometimes be a little spotty ... but it is worth the wait. We always enjoy our food here.

This is a charming hidden spot in Fountain City...it is across from the park in an older building with great atmosphere. The food here is excellent...I've never had anything that I didn't enjoy (the crab cakes, Provencal pasta, and Apple Waldorf salad are personal favorites). The service can be a bit on the slow side (which is why I didn't... More

Have a great Sunday brunch, salads are excellent - as is all their food. Service is very slow, that is they only reason we don't go more often. Can order to go though and we do that sometimes. On a side street in Fountain City across from the park. Can always find parking unless the Methodist church has something going.... More

My husband and I love to come here to eat. The food is great, the ambience wonderful, the staff attentive, and the prices fair. We bring all of our out of town guests here. We will continue giving them our patronage and highly recommend them to everyone.
