I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Even though it is in the middle of several malls the food is authentic, very tasty and rather cheap. I had the tom yum soup and the pad thai trying to play it safe in a first visit. Both came out in a matter of minutes and I really enjoyed them. Attentive... More

I have been going to taste of thia sence a year or so after they opened. I have never once had bad service at taste of thia or been disappointed by the food. I love taste of thia. I typically visit it twice a week. I would recommend their coconut soup as an appetizer. For the main dish I would... More

On the plus side the prices are reasonable and the Massaman Curry that I had was excellent. I like that they use broccoli and avocado instead of potato and carrots as many places do. I have eaten here a few times on my way through Knoxville and have always enjoyed my entree. However, they do have a service problem and... More

We have been going to Taste of Thai ever since before it moved into the new building. Some of our family favorites are masaman curry (they could add more avocado though); dry noodles (not on the menu, you have to know to ask); and of course the chicken pad thai. It is great to give a number from 1 to... More

Went with a large group, they have a separate room in the back. Portion sizes seemed decent for the entrees - several people needed boxes - but my 7.99 salad didn't fill me up. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area where a $8 meal WILL fill you up. Half of our party was served and the amount... More

Restaurant has moved to a new building and has a very attractive dining room. Parking is a little scant. Food and service is excellent. My wife and I are hooked on the chicken Pad Thai and the chicken Drunken Noodles (My wife requires gluten free food and these are great choices). The crab meat cheese rolls are exceptional. We often... More

Showing up at 12:30 pm on a weekday, I was prepared for a wait. Much to my surprise, my group of three was immediately seated although the place appeared quite full. A delightful waitress very knowledgeable about their dishes immediately appeared to take our drink orders. Fortunately we all knew what we wanted to order and less than three minutes... More

Green curry with Matt Sauce (gluten free sauce) FTW! One of my favorite places to eat in KTown! Yummy! Mango sticky rice is awesome, and there is a bar too. Makes eating by yourself not suck :)

We picked the Taste of Thai after we read the positve reviews. We were suprised by the low prieces, but hoped that the place is just a good bargain... However, we were rather disappointed with the food quality, taste and atmosphere. The Tom Yam soup was bland, not even close to the original. The veggies in the entrees were not... More
