As always, the food was good. I do wish they were more creative, but they are playing to their audience. However, the service, again as always, the service was outstanding.
We took my husband's family there for dinner while we were visiting. For 7 people including tip we paid $231. That included alcohol, dinner, and deserts for everyone. Our server was terrific and the food was very good. The chef even came out every once in a while to chat with diners to see if everything was okay. We would... More
This is one of my "regular" places for dinner out. We probably eat there 8 or so times per year. It is not fancy decor, more of a seafood house than a formal dining room. The crab cakes are the best you are going to get in Knoxville, probably all of east Tennessee. I have had the broiled seafood platter... More
Maybe it's the nasty carpet, or maybe it's something else. Either way, I nearly tossed my cookies upon entering the restaurant. Can't comment on the food since I walked out after smelling the restaurant.
My wife and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess, but also by a stench that smelled like raw sewage. Thinking that it might be limited to the old carpet in the entrance area, we proceeded to our table, where we discovered that the foul odor was present... More
We had come to Knoxville for the game; and needed something to pick us up after the game. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. They were delicious. My husband ordered the crab cakes, plenty of crab meat. I had the fried oysters, which were delicious. The other couple had the broiled seafood plate and the salmon. All were... More
Oh My God - what an amazing meal. They had Mahi Mahi on special, so, we asked for it Blackened and wow, what an amazing meal. Hubby loved the crab cakes; they were full of crabmeat and worth every penny. The atmosphere is a typical seafood place; nothing fancy and needs a little updating, but the food is excellent.
We met friends for dinner on a Monday night. Good selection of crab and other seafood dishes. Happy hour appetizer and drink prices. Try the Cucumber Martini. Food and service was quite good. Dessert was excellent. Wide selection of wines for all tastes and budgets.
This place is merely average. There was an overwhelming odor of fish that smacked me in the face as I walked in the door which put me on guard. But after getting past the fish smell, the meal was ok. Service ok. Probably no better or worse than any chain seafood restaurant.
