Chesapeake's restaurant is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or for any reason. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I recommend the scampi, and the crab cakes. It's also a fun restaurant to eat, chat and just enjoy the atmosphere. We were not rushed or pushed out but were able to enjoy a leisurely dinner... More

i had a large dinner party last week at Chesapeake's and my experience was mixed. We enjoyed the cold appetizers for the table, but although the seafood was fresh, i felt that the dishes were a little rich for me. The staff was very friendly, but were clearly new and amateurs. I did like the wine list.

My husband took me for dinner here on my birthday. As this is a frequented establishment and locally is given high accolades this was my request. They have good seafood at best, but not the rave reviews we had heard. That aside, the seafood is delivered from all destinations daily, so it was fresh. Staff was accommodating and enjoyable, especially... More

We went to Chesapeak's to celebrate our 21st anniversary and weren't disappointed. The salads were appetizing, the seafood was delicious, hot and fresh, the service was awesome, great environment and overall wonderful experience.

Was so excited to go back to Chesapeake's to celebrate our 35th anniversary. It has been several years since we ate there. However, we were very disappointed. 1. Food: Poor to average 2. Service: Poor to average 3. Value: So not worth it 4. Atmosphere: Very Good I really hate writing this review because Chesapeake's has always been one of... More

It's not often you come across a good seafood restaurant. Chesapeaks is one of them. Polite staff, great atmosphere. Great menu offering a variety of seafood dishes. Prices were about average for a higher end establishment. My wife ordered the double lobster tail, with filet mignon special, and I had the shrimp Chesapeake which was 6 jumbo shrimp smothered in... We enjoyed our visit to Chesapeake's, our party ordered the Hot Appetizer Platter and then the Boiled Seafood Combination. The shrimp were very dry. The breads were delicious and I dipped the croissant in my Crab Bisque - it was great! I will go back, but will order soup, salad, or the special. The chairs were uncomfortable too. :(

My sister lives in Knoxville and recommended this place, but we were disappointed. We had calamari, the fried seafood platter, crab bisque, salads, and the crab cakes. The crab bisque was very good, but everything else was mediocre. I guess for the prices, I didnt expect ketchup and tartar sauce with crab cakes. The fried shrimp was overcooked, and the... More
