Description: We believe less processed food tastes better. Not only does it taste better, it's much healthier too. You'll notice this difference in our house made dressings and handcrafted pizzas, as well as in our colorful salads and sandwiches. Fresh produce from East Tennessee farmers like Hines Valley Farm, Mountain Meadows Farm and Colvin Family Farm is featured in our daily specials. Well known for our vegan and vegetarian dishes, our menu has plenty for the carnivore. All of our proteins are nitrate/nitrite free, all natural and antibiotic free. Our house made lamb sausage is cooked in small batches to ensure freshness. Our sister bakery, Flour Head Bakery, prepares all of the Tomato Head's desserts and breads (including gluten free!) Each morning. By using unbleached and unbromated King Arthur Flour, we create healthier and better tasting pizza dough and sandwich breads. We also can easily accommodate your dietary needs. Whether it's a nut allergy, a preference for vegan fare or a gluten sensitivity, our staff will craft a dish to suit your tastes.

First time eating at this restaurant and it was fabulous! This is a sandwich/soup pizza type of place. The food was really fresh and tasty. I had chicken salad in pita bread while my husband had the tomato head sandwich. The service was great and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back!

I've been here a few times and every time someone in my party wants to eat there I don't get excited. The food isn't bad but it's not amazing either. The best thing they have on the menu is the pizza.

Tomato Head offers a varied menu with vegetarian choices along with limited special dishes and all seem to knock it out of the park. Prices are moderate and service is very good. I've dined at both the Market Square and Bearden locations, and the quality is consistent.

My boyfriend and I had lunch at Tomato Head for his birthday. Very busy and very loud, but the food was amazing. There veggie burgers are so good, that's what I had and my boyfriend had the Kepner Melt and he said that it had a great taste. The pesto, probably the best pesto I have had- not liquidy.

This is a new family favorite! My husband and I couldn't decide what to eat, it all looked so good! We decided to order a pizza, and a sub, and split both. Yummy! Our toddler loved his pizza, and our preteen loved his sub too. I can't wait to go back!

Walking around Market Square for Sunday brunch and found this place after our group was unwilling to wait 1-1.5 hours at Tupelo Honey (ironic considering they had several empty tables that needed to be bussed!) I absolutely loved and would highly recommend starting with the cinnamon roll and/or monkey bread (both were phenomenal). Great selection of brunch items. Of the... More

Who thought that smoked salmon and goat cheese pizza would be good. It wasn't just good, it was fantastic! And so was everything else that I have tried there. I also loved the warm bacon spinach salad. The only exception I might say was that the cupcakes were a little dry, but the key lime pie was scrumptious. Want a... More

This menu is not for the meat and potato crowd. It is organic, tasty, and 70s type food. I had the roger roger wow man that was good.

I placed my order seeing only one person ahead of me. I sat at the table closest to the guy who called the names to pick up the orders because I was in a hurry and wanted to not miss hearing my name. There were only 12 customers in the whole place. I waited 30 minutes and my name was... More
