We eat at Calhoun's quite often. I ate here recently with a friend for lunch. The servers are always polite and are good to take my order with a pleasant smile even though I am an "on the side" person. I have never had an issue with something be served incorrectly. The only real fault I find with Calhoun's is... More

Went there for lunch during a business trip. Food was great, I had cheeseburger, others had the port dinner and the stuffed tomatoes....all great! Only thing was it too a really long time for the food to come out. We were in the middle of a weekday business trip, and this just took too long. It would be a great... More

Had the ribs despite some previous reviews and found then tasty, tender and succulent. The ribs are a little different from most barbeque ribs I have had, but still very good. The baked beans were awesome! Nice beer, I had the APA and my wife the Helles and we both enjoyed them. Service was very good too. All in all... More

Wings were ok, but BBQ ribs were over cooked and dry. Great beans, coleslaw, and cornbread. I do like that Tennessee ribs aren’t slathered in sauce like Kansas City BBQ and you can actually see and taste the meat. I give everything other than the ribs four stars, but the ribs only two. Hence, the three star rating. Not sure... More

A group of 6 of us went here on a Sunday evening. I had a steak which was excellent. Their sides were great, especially their spinach maria. The bread was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive, and we did not feel at all rushed.

Had a wonderful steak dinner with a great friend. Atmosphere was enjoyable. The service was good, would not be my first place to choose next time.

great lunch options and bear muffins. Not the best ribs in the area but tasty. Nice atmosphere with a pleasant and friendly staff.

Reservations were made for Saturday evening but turns out they weren't needed. Not busy at all. We had great service but dry, poor quality ribs, pulled pork that was dry, but chicken tenders and grilled chicken breasts were done properly. The sides were great. Excellent spinach maria, corn pudding and mac & cheese. The loaded potato skins were also great... More

We wanted to like this restaurant as it is local. Admittedly, we are not chain food people, so this was a bad choice for us, but we were hungry and tired. Food was super friend and my salmon was so bad the manager comped my meal. (It smelled bad when it came to the table and was very dried out.)... More

We have been here many times, but we may have had our last visit. The beer has never been great but the service has always been good. Tonight we had to ask to get a side dish delivered. Same with the bread. And that was after flagging down the server. The server never checked back with us and, without asking... More
