Good, consistent experience

We eat at Calhoun's quite often. I ate here recently with a friend for lunch. The servers are always polite and are good to take my order with a pleasant smile even though I am an "on the side" person. I have never had an issue with something be served incorrectly. The only real fault I find with... read more

There were 17 people in our party visiting Calhoun's after graduation and they accommodated us. The food was good and the service was good, but the restaurant is a little older which is the reason for the rating. I got the turkey creek salad and it was very good. There are several locations to choose from. Recommend visiting.

The waitstaff was awesome. The food was OK. When famous eateries franchise they become just another place. This did have a more local flair. Portions were more than adequate.

The restaurant was recommended by a staff member at the Hotel we were staying at. The atmosphere was great in the restaurant. Our server was very attentive to our needs and offered some suggestions when asked. Wife and I both had some ribs - she had fries and I had a baked potato. Meal was very good. I got a... More

The food was excellent and the waitress April was even better, so glad we stopped and tried it on our way back to Albany, GA. Great way to end our spring break.

Went to Calhoun's for the first time after hearing many talk wonders about their BBQ. Unfortunately, the ribs were very dry and overcooked. My party sent back the orders and the manager came up saying, "I took a bite and they were fine." Really? That is how you treat a customer? The reality was that the BBQ ribs were not... More

I am a local and eat Calhouns often. Wife and I went to the river location first and it was an hour wait , so we decided to cruise to this kingston pike location because my wife was dead set on getting her Ale steak. We got seated immediately , but took over 5 minutes for anyone to take a... More

My Mom and had lunch here. We walked in and were immediately seated. Within 30 seconds, our waitress appeared with water and inquired about any other drinks needed. She was back very quickly and took our order. We tried the chicken salad club-it was awesome, loaded baked potato and baked beans- best we have had in a verrrry long time.... More

Went there for lunch during a business trip. Food was great, I had cheeseburger, others had the port dinner and the stuffed tomatoes....all great! Only thing was it too a really long time for the food to come out. We were in the middle of a weekday business trip, and this just took too long. It would be a great... More
