OMG, delicious food. The Reuben is AWESOME! We will be a loyal customer and go back often. Owners were very friendly. I recommend the Holy Land one taste and you'll be hooked.

Walter is not only a great chef, but he has a fantastic sense for people. He is so personable. I told him that I was going to tell everyone that he is a "food dealer" as he kept bringing delicious samples for us to try. We have been hooked on his creations since we first visited. I am hooked on... More

The owner/chef is extremely friendly and customer oriented. "Everyone that comes in is family" is what we were told, and it rings true with our experience. We were treated to samples of all the available hummus. All were very tasty. Be warned, the habanero hummus is hot. I mentioned the only thing on the menu I don't think I'd care... More

When you first pull into the parking lot, don't be a skeptic. Looks more like a small market than a restaurant. My wife and I thought maybe we had the wrong place. Certainly this couldn't be the place everyone rants and raves about, is it? Walked in and was welcomed with an amazing aroma -- Yep, this is the place.... More

Some menu selections change daily and are limited but very tasty. The owners' previous experiences have brought family recipes to the food served. Both are friendly and engage with the customers. It is a comfortable place that you can enjoy lunch or dinner and order what you want as yiou come in.

I found a write-up of this place in the Metro Pulse, and was sold already by the picture of the Reuben, my personal test of any place calling themselves a deli. The write-up sounded wonderful. It took me several weeks to make it out to the Holy Land, and I arrived a few minutes before opening (Google said 10am, but... More

The Middle Eastern food was authentic, homemade and delicious. Denise and Walter's cooking is second to none. Walking in and meeting Walter is like being welcomed into their home. George's meal prep brought a perfect balance to the Reuben and lamb shawarma prepared for us. Walter was delighted to give us samples of Denise's hummus, and each one was better... More

While my husband has been here for lunch a number of times, this was my first time, and I have to say I didn't realize what I had been missing. We really enjoyed fresh and flavorful Middle Eastern food, the gracious, friendly owners who patiently described the selections (and tried to help us pronounce some of the names) and the... More

What a treat to find out about Holy Land Market & Deli. Had seen it en-route to our favorite Italian Restaurant---SAVELLI'S just down the the street on Sutherland Ave. A delight! Just thought it was a Market and didn't realize it was also a restaurant who cook daily authentic Middle Eastern food. WOW! The gyro and the Reuben---daily cooked corn... More

Took my mother here Saturday. She has been wanting to try spanikopita for some time now. We thought the place was great. The food was yummy, the owners were super nice and the atmosphere was great too. I loved the sun dried tomato, basil homemade hummus and brought some home with me. The chicken souvlaki my husband ordered was wonderful.... More
