We were on our way back from a weekend in the mountains and found ourselves in Knoxville around lunch time so we pulled up trip advisor to see where to eat. The closet place to us was Holy Land so we decided to give it a shot and we were glad we did. Walter and Denise made us feel like... More

Always friendly and very good food. Family owned and operated. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Knoxville. Dining area is very basic and part of the building is a market so this is more like a deli than a sit down restaurant.

Food is amazing! Owner was great and gave us free samples. Can't wait to go back when we're in town.

So we broke out the old Trip Advisor app in our home town today to see if there was anything we didn't know about for lunch and found Holy Land. In business 8 years and we had never been here! Travesty! In the car everyone! Mission accepted! Holy Land is off the beaten path and not in the "best" area... More

My bff and I met halfway between our homes for lunch in Knoxville where we could sit and chat a while. We were looking for opposite ends of the food spectrum in that I'm eating Vegan and she is eating Atkins. I saw this place recommended on Trip Advisor, and knew that we could at least find a nice Greek... More

By way of context, I've lived on deli in Chicago, New York, Columbus, and Miami. I will die when I am 60, but I will die well fed! The Reuben sandwich at HLM stacks up against Katz's or any other well known deli you can name (sorry about the pun). The corn beef is made personally by the owner on... More

When Ali Baba Time Out Deli closed a while back I was distraught. I knew about King Tut's, but I didn't particularly care for their recipes. Nice people, just not for my palate. Holy Land, which somehow I had skipped over all these years has filled the hole left from Ali Baba's closing. The main dishes here are as good... More

The owners are great and the food feels authentic (never been to the relevant locale to confirm). Glad it has a place in Knoxville.
