Outrageously good, delicious middle eastern dining

We loved the gyros - loved the grilled pita it was served in! Such a good selection of home cooked favorites! Such a treasure! Susan & Harry Wood

consistently the best in Nashville not only for family groups but also on business we always try to take our lunch break there; Denise is a northener but she warms up to kiddies and Walter is a prince of a gentleman always giving my wife and myself hints on middle eastern cooking and BTW we always bring a cooler to... I have been several times. To be fair the Reuben is very good. Their food is good, but overpriced for the deli- atmosphere. Owners are very moody, if you go frequently. Which is very strange. If you do not go often, it is good. Very good for Knoxville which really needs to kick up the Mediterranean food scene.

This little deli/market is well worth stopping at if you are in the Knoxvillenarea. The owners are absolutely delightful and helpful for what to choose. My husband had a Gyro and I had a Chicken Gyro. Both were exactly what we would have expected from a Mediterranean restaurant. The pita was nicely grilled, the Chechen lightly spiced and not lacking... More

I was in Knoxville near this place (for an event at West High, three blocks away) and see that "Holy Land Market" is #3 in Knoxville and the specialties were Reubens, hummus, and gyros, three of my favorite things. So we went and I ordered them all and they were great! The atmosphere is sort of old deli, let the... More

This market and restaurant has to be visited to be believed. I had the most amazing Greek salad I'd ever had followed by the most amazing gyro I'd ever had. Then I had a bite of my husband's Reuben. OMG. That sandwich is what you have when you die and go to Reuben heaven. Seriously. You need four stomachs to... More

We were on our way back from a weekend in the mountains and found ourselves in Knoxville around lunch time so we pulled up trip advisor to see where to eat. The closet place to us was Holy Land so we decided to give it a shot and we were glad we did. Walter and Denise made us feel like... More

Always friendly and very good food. Family owned and operated. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Knoxville. Dining area is very basic and part of the building is a market so this is more like a deli than a sit down restaurant.

Food is amazing! Owner was great and gave us free samples. Can't wait to go back when we're in town.
