As we drove toward the Holy Land Market, we weren't sure this was really a place to eat, but we entered into this bustling neighborhood market and the scents from our visits to the Middle East refreshed our tantalizing memories. Several people were waiting for various items to take so we used the opportunity to browse the overstocked store. We... More

This is soooo much better than a fast food lunch while on the road. We split a large bowl of leek soup and didn't leave a smidge as it was just that good! My husband had the gyro and noted the fresh ingredients, and I had my first falafel and found it very tasty indeed. We purchased Greek spinach pies... More

I've eaten at Holy Land several times and have always had excellent food and service. The lamb kabobs, gyros, and hummus plates are to die for.

My husband has had lunch here a couple times and told me I had to try it. He was right-it is fabulous! I walked right in and ordered 2 chicken soulvaki to go. Everything is freshly prepared, so I had the opportunity to look around the store which has a lot of neat items. There was some really yummy looking... More

We love this place! The owners are very friendly and the food is delicious and made with passion! I had the special, Polish cabbage, and it was fireworks in my mouth. My husband and I love their grape leaves. Definitely our favorite in the knox area!

The owners are local people very friendly and have been serving the community for many years. This establishment is worth a visit for good middle eastern cuisine. Give it a try

This place is awesome. Walter makes the best baba!! Warm and friendly atmosphere. Not pretentious but quality is not compromised. This place would survive in any city in the US. Can't say the same about most other restaurants in Knoxville.

Very good for Knoxville, but if you have been to the Holy Land or NYC or Orange County, CA and have to stand in line for their huge(has to be rolled) it is unfortunately second rate. Good nevertheless for Knoxville, TN. An admirable try.

The food was good, but they were very short staffed. I waited in the counter line for twenty minutes and ended up just getting some salads to go.

This is one of two Mediterranean/Middle Eastern markets in the area, and I absolutely LOVE Holy Land. My family has been shopping here since I was a child, and now I shop here. They have specialty items from places like Iran, Turkey, Greece, and all kinds of exotic places that you can't get anywhere else. I especially love the Gyros... More
