Great food and atmosphere

We have been twice and both times the meals were fabulous! I just never think to go there. We went with another couple in the food industry and they were very impressed. The building was pretty with nice table settings.

We went here for a special dinner while I was visiting Knoxville. We were attracted to this venue because they served grass fed beef. I ordered the braided beef ribs and they were delicious served over a bed of risotto spatzale which was spectacular. The setting was nice and open and airy, recently refurbished. I truly enjoyed the experience however... More

My meal of the Blue Crab Cakes was delicious beyond delicious, especially the smoky tomato relish and the creamy remoulade that accompanied the cakes. I liked the crispy okra side that was served with my meal, as well. I enjoyed the glass of red wine I ordered, also, enough that I wish I could remember the name of it. The... More

My wife had been to GHR a few times, and tonight she suggested we give it a try together. And it couldn't have gotten off to a worse start. We showed up for the 7:15 reservation we made online, and we were immediately shown to our table. We chose to be seated outside, where there were two other parties already... More

The Grill at Highlands Row is one of Knoxville's few true fine dining experiences. Most of the restaurants that qualify as fine dining in Knoxville are old and look it and feel it. The Grill offers a beautiful setting with old world charm. The raw products used are high quality and what they turn it into is magnificent. We haven't... More

We had the opportunity to have dinner with friends on a recent Saturday night. Having eaten here on several other occasions we were expecting the typical outstanding meal. Three of the meals were just that...the fourth which also happen to be the priciest was way below average. It was the bone-in prime rib and it was thin and full of... More

We eat here regularly and it is one of our favorite brunch spots. Biscuits and beignets to start, and excellent mimosas and eggs Benedict. In the evening, the hot chicken is amazing and the bartenders make proper cocktails. Great staff, highly recommend! Also great for group meetings or large parties.

I was here for a work dinner, and the private dining room was excellent. The menu offers something for everyone - vegetarians, meat-lovers, etc. My entree was the mountain trout with pistachio butter, sauteed kale and sweet potato spoon bread. The fish and greens were finished with a bit too much salt, and the spoon bread was slightly burnt on... More

Girlfriends and i met here to celebrate birthdays. Greeted promptly and hung out by the fireplace. Our table was nice and spacious (six of us), not too crowded like some restaurants. The bread and little cornbread fritters (?) were hot and delicious. The wine recommended by our server was smooth and a great complement to my steak (Cabernet), my filet... More

Several weeks ago, we, looking for a new Sunday brunch spot, tried The Grill at Highlands Row (TGHR) and were very well pleased (suffice it to say that the Steak and Eggs, which we both had, was excellent), so decided to give it a try for dinner. We have a new favorite local restaurant. The facility is nicely-decorated and spacious.... More
