We had the opportunity to have dinner with friends on a recent Saturday night. Having eaten here on several other occasions we were expecting the typical outstanding meal. Three of the meals were just that...the fourth which also happen to be the priciest was way below average. It was the bone-in prime rib and it was thin and full of... More

We eat here regularly and it is one of our favorite brunch spots. Biscuits and beignets to start, and excellent mimosas and eggs Benedict. In the evening, the hot chicken is amazing and the bartenders make proper cocktails. Great staff, highly recommend! Also great for group meetings or large parties.

I was here for a work dinner, and the private dining room was excellent. The menu offers something for everyone - vegetarians, meat-lovers, etc. My entree was the mountain trout with pistachio butter, sauteed kale and sweet potato spoon bread. The fish and greens were finished with a bit too much salt, and the spoon bread was slightly burnt on... More

Girlfriends and i met here to celebrate birthdays. Greeted promptly and hung out by the fireplace. Our table was nice and spacious (six of us), not too crowded like some restaurants. The bread and little cornbread fritters (?) were hot and delicious. The wine recommended by our server was smooth and a great complement to my steak (Cabernet), my filet... More

Several weeks ago, we, looking for a new Sunday brunch spot, tried The Grill at Highlands Row (TGHR) and were very well pleased (suffice it to say that the Steak and Eggs, which we both had, was excellent), so decided to give it a try for dinner. We have a new favorite local restaurant. The facility is nicely-decorated and spacious.... More

This was my first time at the Grill. The service was prompt and courteous (it was Wed. and the restaurant was only 25% full). Attire is a little more upscale than a lot of the more common restaurants around Knoxville, but dressy casual is okay. One group was coat and tie, but I think they were not necessarily indicative of... More

I have not had the opportunity to eat here for dinner, but I have eaten brunch here several times. My husband usually gets the East Tennessee breakfast. The home fried potatoes are very tasty and the eggs are always cooked to perfection. The Northshore Nova sandwich is tasty. The hamburgers are delicious. Also try the gouda grits - very yummy.... We had a delightful dinner at the Grill with some friends. The food and service were excellent. In particular, the chef's take on southern classics was creative, and all of the food was wonderfully fresh and appeared to be locally sourced. Very nice dining room and bar. Wine list was short but good, although several of the wines we ordered... More
