Several weeks ago, we, looking for a new Sunday brunch spot, tried The Grill at Highlands Row (TGHR) and were very well pleased (suffice it to say that the Steak and Eggs, which we both had, was excellent), so decided to give it a try for dinner. We have a new favorite local restaurant. The facility is nicely-decorated and spacious.... More

Although we were there for a wedding reception, the food was excellent as was the atmosphere and service.

This was my first time at the Grill. The service was prompt and courteous (it was Wed. and the restaurant was only 25% full). Attire is a little more upscale than a lot of the more common restaurants around Knoxville, but dressy casual is okay. One group was coat and tie, but I think they were not necessarily indicative of... More

I have not had the opportunity to eat here for dinner, but I have eaten brunch here several times. My husband usually gets the East Tennessee breakfast. The home fried potatoes are very tasty and the eggs are always cooked to perfection. The Northshore Nova sandwich is tasty. The hamburgers are delicious. Also try the gouda grits - very yummy.... We had a delightful dinner at the Grill with some friends. The food and service were excellent. In particular, the chef's take on southern classics was creative, and all of the food was wonderfully fresh and appeared to be locally sourced. Very nice dining room and bar. Wine list was short but good, although several of the wines we ordered... More

Used open table and made a few simple requests and gave an explanation on what our occasion for dinner was. They took every opportunity to make the most of our experience and made us feel that they really cared about our satisfaction. Oh... And the good was amazing. Would have liked a little more "grown up" wine list though.

My wife and I went to The Grill for the Sunday brunch. This was our first time to the restaurant. The server was attentive. I ordered the veggie scramble and my wife ordered a steak and eggs combo. The veggie scramble featured cherry tomatoes and melted cheddar. It was very good. My wife's steak and eggs dish was also very... More

My husband and I had such an enjoyable experience on Friday night, we went back the next night with friends! The food is very good, the wine we chose was awesome and the terrace seating was just terrific on an unseasonably cool summer night. Service the 2nd night could have been better, but wasn't bad enough for us to not... More

Called ahead and reserved their "most romantic" table, and they delivered. We had an entire room to ourselves, and a waiter exclusive to our table. Food was terrific, (especially the baked oysters, complete with collard greens and Benton's bacon.) Opt for a bottle of Velvet Devil Merlot, and ask for Michael. You won't be disappointed.

We had heard and read such great reviews about this place, that we were excited to eat there. We were glad to see that it was a local establishment (something we seek out, when we visit towns), not a chain restaurant (we like supporting local places). However, we were very disappointed once we got there. To begin, my husband had... More
