We have dined at this superb restaurant many times, as it is a favorite of my late Mom, and my Step-Dad. Lisa welcomes everyone like family, giving the restaurant Southern charm. You are then blown away by Seth's delicious creations in the kitchen! Every meal we've ever had has been over-the-top, equal to any fine-dining restaurant in NYC or any... More

I had a very nice experience having dinner here. The menu is pretty traditional French Bistro fare, but done quite well. I only had a Caesar salad and a yummy veal chop, but a great assortment of vegetables came with the chop. I was dining alone and they made me feel comfortable without having to sit at the bar. A... I'm not sure how this restaurant has good reviews. The environment and service were ok but the food was definitely not good. Also the wine I ordered tasted old. Best part of meal was the bread and pesto. The crab cake was flavorless and oily and redfish was too fishy. Waitress didn't even notice/care that I didn't eat my food.... More

My husband and I with my mom to Echo for my birthday. This is always a great place. The chief, Seth, always comes out to talk to the take, check on allergies and just chat. This makes you feel like he truly care about his business. Echo generally has a specific wine on special that you taste before you order.... More

Chef Seth Simmerman, the owner and principal chef, recently offered a free four-course dinner for veterans of the Vietnam War. My wife and I along with another couple (he served in the Army in I Corps) took advantage of this generous offer. Seth went "over the top" providing a "surf & turf" entrée that was absolutely delicious--along with soup, salad... More

Friends in Knoxville had us to meet them at Echo for dinner. It was a memorable meal and EVERYTHING was delicious! We will return to this restaurant when we're back in Knoxville. We shared bites between our family and it would be hard to choose one best entree. We now have new friends with Chef Seth and Lisa. The fried... More

We have been to Echo on several occasions with the latest being this past weekend. As always the food was spectacular...starting with the pesto, then the mussels and then our main meal. Each of us enjoyed what we ordered and tried to convey to each other how good it was but were having difficulty because we were so busy gobbling... More

The pesto is fantastic! We eat dinner at Echo Bistro more often than any other restaurant, the personal service is exceptional. We love to introduce friends to the restaurant. The mussels appetizer is a favorite, the Bison is wonderful, scallops and China town are also fantastic. Soups are really tasty, we have desert on rare occasions and they are fantastic... More

I've been to Echo Bistro numerous times and I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. Amazing apps, soups & salads, entrees and desserts. Chef Seth comes by the table to see if you have any questions or allergy concerns. Crab cake appetizers are spot on. Great soups. The fillet or scallops are my two favorite entrees. Usually... More

Three of us ate at the Echo Bistro and thought our meal was the best we've ever had at a Knoxville restaurant. Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient; and the chef came to our table to be sure that everything was in order. I had the mussels (which were excellent, not at all like those described in an earlier review;... More
