When you have their dishes you'll be a customer for life but the most amazing thing is even side dishes and appetizers have amazing attention to detail. The staff and the chef make you feel valued and welcomed. Some of the flavors we experienced there have never been duplicated! I recommend the bison, the lobster, or choose anything you want... More

The food was very good and the owners very friendly. They both came by my table several times to chat. You need to allow time - it took a while for the entree to arrive . But soup and salad came fast, and were excellent. I had the scallops entree and it was very good. The waitress even brought a... More

The menu sounds scrumptious! French cuisine at its best! Creative, simply delicious! Not so fast... at Echo, the description of the food is better than its taste. The escargots were delish, but swimming in butter... the pumpkin bisque is absolutely wonderful. The crab one, not so much. A bit watery and very little crab. The trio of soups is a... More

This is our 5th visit back to this restaurant and it keeps getting better. The restaurant is owned by the Chef and his wife oversees the operations in the Dining Room. Has a full bar and a very good selection of wines. The menu is broad enough to offer something for everyone but focused enough to ensure high quality. The... More

This is one of our favorite restaurant in Knoxville. Menu has great selections for entrées and small plates. I was disappointed that Kurt, the owner and chef wasn't there the last time we were at the restaurant. The fish dishes are always cooked just right and delicious. My husband said his beef dish didn't have any flavor this time. He... More

We consider this one of the best restaurants in the Knoxville area. Located next to a small strip mall so you need to look carefully to find it. It has a great bar, wine selection and menu. The Executive Chief is the owner and he personally oversees the preparation of your order and is more than happy to tailor your... More

My husband and I have had some great meals out, but Echo tops the chart! The owner/chef came out to see if you there any food allergies and answered questions about the menu. My only question was how in the world do I choose one dish when they all sounded wonderful? His response.... we can do a combination of two... More

What a great neighborhood restaurant! Echo Bistro is a fantastic place to take guests or celebrate something special. From the moment you are greeted at the door by the accommodating hostess, until the final drop of wine or coffee has been finished, you are treated as a special guest in someone's home! The classic food offerings are top notch, and... More

Table water with watermelon? Warm washcloths to clean up after the meal? the apple jack dessert? The cheery, attentive service? It's all amazing! Can't wait to go back.

Have taken business guest here twice with great all around experiences. Both times was 6:00 PM reservations. Took the wife on our aniversary for 7:30 reservation and while the food was really good, the service suffered presumably due to understaffed wait staff. Going to assume this was an anomoly and will give them another try.
