Knox BBQ at its finest

Great BBQ but that is not it. They have unique tastes for all. The blue chez slaw and triple slides are amazing and a great way to get an overall taste of their food. We also love their wings if you are not in the mood for some amazing brisket.

We were recently heading through Knoxville and wanted to try to make a visit to the Holy Land Market. Unfortunately they decided to shut their business down and take a vacation the exact time we wanted to go there (this is the second attempt to go there only to find it shut down). We know what does that have to... More

Dead End is one of my top three places to eat in Knoxville. Their atmosphere is fun and their staff is great. Food wise my favorite things are BBQ nachos and their sausage, cheese and bread appetizer. I've never had anything bad. PS-they just made top 100 BBQ places in USA. They are legit!!

My family and I visited this establishment and sat outside on the patio. Ordered our food and as we got our food I tried to scoot up my chair while sitting down. While scooting up my chair the chair was broke and as the chair came back down it cut off the left tip of my ring finger. I was... More

Skip any other place and head here first!! After several days in Knoxville and listening to people/reviews about which BBQ is the best, we found this place. Wish we had found it first, that way we could have come back a second time while in town!! This BBQ is a close to Memphis Style as you can get here!! Had... More

Hot, yummiest ribs and wings ever. What else is there to say? Great atmosphere and great service -- the wings were large and spicy, the ribs were delicious and the selection of sauces are so yum they are available for takeaway! Shame we didn't take any away but gives us a reason to go back.

I had friends tell me about Dead End. I'm very particular about my barbecue so I was skeptical about trying it out. I came during lunch and it was packed. A little too crowded for my liking but it's a popular place so that must be a good sign. I had the smoked bologna sandwich. Oh. My. Gawd. The most... More

This place is the best barbecue from start to finish. The waitress was great even gave us some samples to help us decide. We tried the brisket and their competition chicken on Texas toast, both were delist! We would definitely come here again. Please open one up close to us!!

My family gathered at Dead End BBQ on Sutherland last week, as it had been a long time since we last visited. We don't live real close to the restaurant, so it easily slips our minds when we are thinking of eating out. Everyone of us at the table ended up with something different, which was good...as we got to... More

I made my first to Dead End BBQ last night before the Garth Brooks concert. There were six in our party. We had BBQ pork nachos (big enough to share) as an appetizer. They excellent. Our dinner orders included wings, veggie, plate, BBQ platter, pork sandwich with sides, and brisket dinner. All were very very good. Nice atmosphere.
