BBQ

In the south what else is there, BBQ Joints, every street corner you can smell a smoker going, from the guy with a tent set up in a parking lot, to a new place opening the doors for the first time(most likely closed if you want to go back in a month) ! This place has been around for a... read more

One of the great BBQ places here in knoxville. The BBQ is great and even better with their sauces. The BBQ sandwich is always a go to for any southern BBQ joint. This place delivered on all levels. Take note: Any good BBQ joint worth their salt should carry the traditional BBQ sides. Including BBQ Beans, Slaw, Corn, Potato Salad,... More

Visited three times, never impressed and today, 5/9/15 was the worst. Dry, tasteless pulled pork and Iced tea just this side of straight water. Too many better B-B-Q restaurants to ever return there again. Sadly disappointed as family & friends actually like eating there.

Well, it's been three or fours years since I've eaten at Dead End BBQ, so my girlfriend and I decided to stop in and eat there as she had not ever eaten at Dead End before. From the time that I sat down, I noticed that the service had changed. It took the waitress three or four minutes to introduce... More

Me and my husband stopped here for lunch because I had heard great things. I really enjoyed the pimento macaroni cheese and the pork was cooked well. My husband enjoyed his ribs. Overall though the food didn't stand out as something special. I liked the old pictures that they had on the wall of the area.

Heard from a local fellow that a group of folks started cooking Bar B Q in front of their house on a dead end street and the neighbors like it so much they decided to open a restaurant and named it Dead End Bar B Q! Fast forward to early March 2015. We wrapped up a morning biz meeting and... More

I had the 1/2 rack of ribs, sweet potato chips and cole slaw at Dead End BBQ. It was ok. The bone did not slide out of the meat but was close. The quantity of sweet potato chips was ridiculous! That is something that isn't very good left over so there was a huge waste of food. The slaw was... More

I love this place! It is close to my apartment, so I eat here a fair amount. All of their BBQ is great, even though I normally stick with the pulled pork. My favorite sides are the sweet potatoes fries and the pimento mac & cheese! All of their food is great. They tend to go on a wait in... More

I typically won't crave BBQ but Dead End has such unique options to give a wide variety of dishes to appeal to everyone's desires. Their okra is great: not slimy or thick "frozen" style breading. The jalapeño corn muffins are wonderful and the pimento macaroni and cheese is GREAT! Their BBQ quesadilla is a different option than the traditional pulled... More
