Crazy Tomato was a great a few years ago but we were very disappointed today. The restaurant was empty on a Sunday afternoon (first bad sign), the dining room was filthy (dirty floors and the window coverings were VERY stained with food and some sort of greasy substance) and the service was poor. Our server greeted us without a smile... More

My husband and I first went to Crazy Tomato in 2009, but were not overly impressed. The service wasnt great and the Ravioli were under cooked. So, we went again last night because we've heard some compliments on their pizza. We were seated quickly, there were four other tables filled already, given our menus and we waited. ... And waited.... More

Crazy Tomato has the best pizza, calzones, spiinish items, and salads. I love to eat there. Great for kids as well. Kingsport has a better autmosphere than Johnson City, but the food is good there as well.

The charge you $3 more in evening for the same amount of food at lunch. They put a 18% tip without telling us we had a party of six. There was nothing posted or on menu regarding this. Asked who manager was and no one knew. Our waitress was Ashley and didn't bring extra bread or refills of drinks we... More

I love the food here. Their stuffed shells are great and the complimentary bread and marinara sauce is awesome. I brought my family who was out of town here to eat. Our server was not very friendly and we ran out of drinks and then some other waiter would bring our refills. My sister got the pepperoni calzone and it... More

I ate here because it was next door to the Colonial Inn, I didn't want to drive, and because I could get a glass of wine. Late on a Friday night it wasn't busy and I was immediately seated. My server showed up quickly to take my drink order (the house Chianti was pretty good). My chicken parm was a... More

Weeds in asphalt parking lot should have been the first warning. Inside was dirty, ants in the cheese shaker. Understaffed, one server, who was also seater. Ordered fettucine-$10.99 with no sides, no salad, nothing! Very greasy. Garlic bread was obviously frozen and heated.

Tuesdays, the Crazy Tomato has calzones for $1.00 off. If you haven't had one, plan to go there next Tuesday. Their steak sub is also a must try. It's not your ordinary sub! It looks more like a pizza. I haven't tried the salads, but I've seen them and they look amazing, too.

We actually ate pizza on 2 nights of our 3 night stay in the area. Food was great and price can't be beat
