A warm welcome and good food

Three hungry and tired travellers used this restaurant as the nearest to our lodging and did not regret it! We received a very warm welcome from a very pleasant waitress who was very patient and could tell us all about the dishes on offer. Beer was good value at $2 a bottle, it was a shame that... read more

Food is always good and the service is great. The building and parking are so unappealing and gives off an almost out of business look that my wife will not eat here.

Mid afternoon was an interesting time to visit this restaurant. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Not necessarily a bad thing as I had had a busy morning. The menu consisted mainly of Calzones of various types. (A folded over Pizza with the cheese inside.) We were greeted with a slice of thin pizza bread dough covered lightly... More

I tried to call in an order on the evening of June 20th at 8:33 and was put on hold and left twice. The last time for over 15 minutes. I will NEVER darken the doorstep of this establishment or any other with this name. I will also tell everyone I come in contact with to take their business elsewhere.... More

Have eaten here many times especially for Sunday lunch and the food has been for the most part good but more recently not so good. The cheese pizza today had very little cheese but the salads were good. What we are concerned about is how run down the place looks with weeds all over and the parking lot falling apart... More

We have eaten at the Kingsport Crazy Tomato twice. The first time, we were so disappointed in the pizza, we didn't even bother to bring leftovers home. It simply was not good. We didn't like the sauce at all. Years ago, we ate at the Johnson City Crazy Tomato several times and liked it. We expected the sam but this... More

I've visited the Crazy Tomato for 5 or so years maybe 5-6 times a year. There has always been little atmosphere and the floors need a good cleaning but the food was pretty good. On my last visit with only 4 couples in the restaurant, a party of 7 in the bar area and our group of 4, it took... More

Crazy Tomato was a great a few years ago but we were very disappointed today. The restaurant was empty on a Sunday afternoon (first bad sign), the dining room was filthy (dirty floors and the window coverings were VERY stained with food and some sort of greasy substance) and the service was poor. Our server greeted us without a smile... More

My husband and I first went to Crazy Tomato in 2009, but were not overly impressed. The service wasnt great and the Ravioli were under cooked. So, we went again last night because we've heard some compliments on their pizza. We were seated quickly, there were four other tables filled already, given our menus and we waited. ... And waited.... More
