One of my favorite places when I visit my parents in the last seven years Great diner with great breakfast choices. This place is open 24 hours and always has people in it.

We arrived around 7 pm after checking in at the Comfort Inn located behind Perkins. Service was friendly and fast. The food was good. The pastry's, pies and cakes in the front counter looked very good. If we were local I would have taken something home. We would stop there again when traveling.

Good selections for someone that is gluten free, although I do not think they have a dedicated area just for the prep so use CAUTION if you are truly intolerant, I just prefer to eat gluten free.

We eat here often. We like a place you can have breakfast anytime of the day. Food is good, staff, atmosphere, nice stop off if traveling on 1-81 or just landed at the TRI

We went here after a high school football game and it was crowded. Hopefully that had something to do with the quality of the food that evening. Our waiter on the other hand was absolutely fantastic. He said he didn't normally work Friday evenings but decided to do so. We will give it a try again as I'm hoping it... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Central Virginia and are glad we did. Both the food and the service was excellent. We especially appreciated our waitress pointing out the specials that weren't readily observable on the menu. The turkey for the sandwiches was an actual turkey breast cooked fresh in the restaurant that day, and tasted like... More

Stopped along the interstate for breakfast. Passed up many Barrels to get to a little more variety. I like the menu at Perkins because it offers many smaller meals. This seems like a new restaurant. It is very clean. Breakfast and a cup of hot tea was $8.48. My server, Robin, was very attentive and seemed to enjoy her job.... More
