I would suggest calling ahead it you have a larger party, but the food is always great and the service is typically better than average too. What keeps us coming back is the menu - good southern comfort food at reasonable prices!

We have been going to Cheddar's about once a month since they opened their doors. We are more times than not, happy with our meal and service. We most recently went on 7/16/2014. It was 2 adults, 2 children and a toddler. We ordered water, 2 cokes, sweet tea and raspberry tea. All were great. Cheese fries were ordered as... More

We stopped by while driving through Kingsport. The restaurant is on a street with many other restaurants and looks better than most of the chain restaurants nearby. The interior is eclectically decorated but attractive and comfortable. The menu seems to be typical of a moderately priced sit-down restaurant. My wife had a turkey sandwich and I had the Philly cheese... More

Food is always great. I love their catfish (fried or grilled with lemon pepper seasoning - both are fantastic), and they have amazing broccoli cheese casserole. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get (I almost always have enough for a second meal). The servers are young and energetic, and they are always excellent.

We always eat here when we are in town visiting my mother-in-law and the food is always great! The service was wonderful and everything came quickly. It was very loud in the restaurant but only because it was so busy!

Wanted a good, enjoyable no frills dinner. Was visiting the area and looked up Cheddars, one of our favorite places. Upon arrival the restaurant was very busy. Very understaffed. 12 outside tables empty, with a wait time of 25 minutes. Inside many tables empty and needing bussed. This is during peek time 6:30 Pm on Friday. After a 30 minute... More

This was our first visit to a Cheddar's. The croissants were warm, flaky, soft, and yeasty. The sweet butter was good, but they would be awesome without it. I had the grilled salmon. Delicious. Hubby had a steak. He said it was really good. Our server was Jessie and she was wonderful. Can't wait to go again!

We have been to Cheddars many times and have never been dissappointed. I am very picky about the quality of my food and the only thing I have ever not liked was the strawberry tea. They make the best fish tacos....and their catfish is awesome. The broccoli casserole is sooo good. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.....you will... More
