Great, fresh and hot food. If they mess up your order, which is rarely, they will go out of the way to fix it for you. Cheddar rounds are good if made fresh.

Whenever I am in the tri cities I go to one of the Pal's. A 'hot dog' is a chlii dog, so make it clear what you are ordering but the hot dog is great with the all meat chili. Burgers etc are good too, but I always order the hot dogs. Have eaten every noon there when in town.... More

The Pal's restaurants get a lot of hype in the Tri-Cities. But while it is one of the better fast food options around, it is still fast food and nothing particularly special. When I go, I do like their Sauce Burgers, and they have great fries. If you go in the morning, they have cheddar rounds which are AMAZING. The... More

We always eat here a few times when we are in town. The fries and food is hot and the correct way you ordered it.

Maybe I was expecting too much. This place came highly recommended from friends travelling through the area. I had been reading about the company on the I internet, I was ready to eat here. Just a plain burger meal and they messed up my wife's order. My own expectations may have ruined it for me. I set the bar too... More

My husband grew up in Gate City, VA, and used to work at a Pal's....so I have the inside scoop. We always eat at one of the locations while visiting his family in the area. It is kind of a tradition to get it as our first meal of the trip and top get something to go on the way... More

First time visitor to "PALS" for myself...The milkshake was very good, fries decent, but the burger needed some attention... Reminded me of the frozen burgers that were served in school...I may try one again, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke...Very good quick service though!

As an out-of-towner, the most noteworthy point on Pal's is Hot Dogs on the menu, which come standard with Appalachian-style hot dog chili (no beans, not runny, no tomato base). Across the board I was pleased with the quality of my food, but wasn't blown away, even after taking into account Pal's is 'fast food.' My hamburger was underwhelming, but... More

Pal's are located throughout east Tennessee and southwest Virginia. I think all of the restaurants but one are drive thrus. They are known for their Hot Dogs, Sweet Tea and Burgers. The service is fast and friendly. As a Hot Dog Junkie, I seek out the best Hot Dog's wherever I go. While it a great concept, I found the... More

PALS is the bomb! Everything I have every ordered from Pals has been great. The best thing about pals is their speedy service, and friendly employees. The line goes very quickly and your food is always fresh and hot. If you visit the Tri-Cities area, you simply have to try Pals peachy Tea and Frenchy Fries! My son and husband... More
