We were hesitant to eat at La Carreta because of the comments on Trip Advisor that mentioned poor service. Our service was exactly the opposite. The waiter was very good and made sure that everyone had everything that they needed. The food was ok, but the service was excellent.

Was ignored by the entire wait staff and when we finally got to eat the food was lukewarm. The waitress we spoke to laughed at us when we told her the food didn't seem fresh. I have been many times before but now it seems like every time I go someone is rude and the food isn't hot. I can... More

This was a wonderful little restaurant! Excellent food and service. We were probably 10th in line waiting to be seated, but it was not very long before we were seated. Very impressive!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant for tacos and quesadillas. Food is fresh and not too hot. Salsa is spicy and chips are heated and without much salt. Excellent ice tea and Dos Equis!! Great for the whole family...nicely decorated.

We stopped in here on a whim en route to our hotel for the night. Hadn't had a mexican meal in a long time and fancied a chimichanga. Service was friendly, quick and the food was nicely cooked and presented. Nice strips of tender beef in that chimichanga! Two meals and two drinks but we got change out of $25,... More

La Carreta provided a nice dining experience for a family. The beef and chicken fajitas was an excellent choice. The price was reasonable. We would visit again.

We ate here on a Saturday night--a group of three. Based on the great reviews on tripadvisor it seemed like a safe bet. We were seated promptly and service was ok throughout the meal but the food left much to be desired. The warm, fresh chips and salsa were the best part of the meal--if we had known that we... More

Everything was excellent. We went for lunch and was not disappointed. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the tri-cities.

The food at this location is good for not being Tex Mex that we enjoy so much in Texas, the staff is courteous and friendly and the prices are reasonable. We had the fajitas, mix of chicken and steak, they were tender and cooked just right. A little hard to maneuver to their parking lot as you have to cross... More

Typical "Americanised" Mexican food...nothing authentic about it. I've had the real deal several times before, and the food at La Carreta doesn't even come close. It's not at all bad as I have never gotten a bad meal there and the service has always been good...just not authentic as they advertise. I have returned and probably will return again.
