Used to be one of the best BBQ places around. But now they've changed the recipe of their so-called pulled pork. What we received today was chopped and thoroughly red in color as some sort of sauce has been added to it. Look through their photos, it's not the same BBQ, they're cutting corners.

This is a great place to eat and have a few beers with family or friends. We went while visiting my son and daughter in-law this past weekend and the food was delicious. We all ordered multiple meats and left with enough left overs for the next day. The atmosphere and service were top notch! Excellent place and we will... More

Family friendly restaurant with neat decor. Love, love, love the grilled meatloaf... My husband clued me in on this jem. It's never the meatloaf on the buffet, so if you want it, you'll have to order it from the menu. It's enough for 2 meals. As for sides, I've not had anything bad... Yum.... I may have to make a... This is an example of a place that just is missing that little extra, which would turn it into a memorable dinning experience versus just a place to eat. There was nothing bad I can say about the food or the service. Conversely there is nothing good I can say. I had the turkey, pork and brisket plate. All the... More

Great portions but food was less than appetizing. It tasted as if it was reheated and chicken and ribs were very dry. Disappointed.

Good solid meal. Well worth the try. The home made potato chips were salty warm and gooooood. The potato salad was a bit on the dill-y side but the corn was fantastic. The strawberry shortcake was ok - yes strawberries aren't in season - buuuut....All in all a good solid meal, great atmosphere and very friendly staff but not our... More

We were traveling though Kingsport and decided to stop at Pratt's for dinner. We were seated right away. I ordered the catfish and my husband got the pulled pork. Everything was delicious. The service was great and we got our food very quickly. I would highly recommend this restaurant .

Have always wanted to eat there when we drive up to the Tri-ciies. Usually Its really packed. But today was our day. Finally we got to eat there. Walk in friendly staff and The Waitress very nice. I had the BBQ Pork Platter with the Beans and Slaw Amazing. And hubby got the BBQ sandwich with slaw which is huge... More

Oddly enough we had a catfish fry for a group of about 50. Although the BQ I had for lunch the day before was very good- the catfish buffet was excellent and the surprise for the night was the banana pudding- it's really a miniature banana cream pie and was fantastic.
