Good Food service a bit slow

We eat fairly often at Fisherman's Dock. For the most part, we don't have to wait long for service. When we went for lunch this week, they were not very busy. Many tables were open. Instead of seating us, the hostess told us to please wait because she would be cleaning our table. Customers had... read more

All the fish I have ever had here is great, they should be ashamed to put those Hushpuppies on your table! By the time your food gets out you have filled up on THEM! I think I could go for them alone.

I ate lunch here on the way back from Beckley, WV to Chattanooga, TN. I had the lunch catfish special. The breading was a little different, not sure why or what, but it was good. The slaw was very good and the hush puppies were just OK not much flavor to them baked potato was good. I'm trying to drink... More

Excellent food-we had oyster and white fish fried dinners. We ordered the small portion (which was more than we could eat) and it came with cole slaw and a side. We substituted toss salad for $2 more-it was large for a dinner salad; and ordered a baked potatoe and broccoli for our sides and shared it between us. Both were... More

The portions are huge and are soooo good. The little hushpuppies are yummy with ranch dip. Our favorites are pocorn shrimp and Alaskan white but pretty much everything is worth a try. There are daily specials and the Sunday popcorn shrimp plate is a great deal. The staff has always been very nice and it's a pleasant, clean environment Prepare... More

Like most seafood places you get a plate of greasy seafood, greasy fries, cole slaw and hushpuppies. Fisherman Doc popcorn shrimp and fish was amazing. The batter was fluffy and crunchy, no Greece in your plate. The hushpuppies was delightful little nuggets, perfect for each bite or great for children. I found the meal great, the waitress very pleasant, the... More

I do not dine in very often usually opt for carry out too much seafood smell in there . The fishermans dock is a guilty pleasure for me , I get the fishermans platter it is enough fried seafood to get you thru a long voyage or a couple of days marooned at the house . I don't think this... More

My husband and I ordered the captain's special with a little of everything. After we ordered two tables sat down, ordered, ate and left before we had our food. We kept getting the run around that ours takes longer to cook. By no means is this food spectacular. It is simply average and not many seafood places around. Manager brought... More

This place was suggested to me, so me and a couple coworkers decided to try it out for lunch. The portions are huge. I had the lunch special number 1 which was Alaskan white fish, shrimp, cole slaw, onion rings and hush puppies. The shrimp was awesome as well as the hush puppies. The meal cost 5.99 and for amount... More
