Good food, but a bit pricey

Good food, the prices were a bit higher than I expected. The quality of the food was excellent. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars is the price and I felt that the menu was a bit limited.

You wouldn't order BBQ in the Northeast so why expect great seafood hundreds of miles off the coast. Typical bar fare is probably the safer play. I however rolled the dice and opted for the spicy tuna wrap. Lesson learned. Next visit I'll get a burger.

We were jumping up and down for some great seafood and my wife found Biggies on the trip Advisor page. We got dressed and drove over there lickety split. We had visions of oysters Rockefeller and clams with lemon juice dancing in our heads. On entering the place, we were greeted by a warm and friendly family type space. The... More

We have eaten here many times and this is the best place in Kingsport to eat seafood. Having said that, remember where you are, very far from the ocean, so don't expect excellent, but just good. The best dish is the tuna tacos and they will ask you how you want them prepared. If you eat them as they come,... More

Having driven nearly 700 miles, I checked into LaQuinta, and aske about a good local, seafood place. The Fromt Desk folks all eat here, and I could not have had a better meal in Portland, or even Hoboken, for that matter. These folks go to the coast twice a week for clams and seafood, and it was simply delicious. Imagine finding... More

I have been a loyal customer of Biggie's since it opened. You can always find me there on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with a sprinkle through the rest of the week. The food is absolutely phenomenal. I've never had anything bad there and I've tried just about everything on the menu. I would definitely recommend Biggie's for any occasion. It... More

My family and I ate there on a Sunday after the church crowd had calmed down. We we're the only people in the restaurant which seemed unusual but the food was very good. The waitress was very nice and ran a efficient table. The only problem that I had with it was the price. I don't believe that it is... More

One of the best places in Kingsport to eat and have a drink. The employees are always very nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

The absolute best place to get a lobster roll in the Tri-Cities! The service is impeccable. Also the best in the area. The atmosphere is low key and I enjoy that you can actually have a conversation while you eat without having to yell over the music (like other restaurants.)

We wanted a little different atmosphere (still being family friendly) as we visited here in Kingsport. Upon asking the clerk when checking into our Hampton Inn, he suggested a list that was available. We wanted a little more direction. We asked and he gave us a GREAT suggestion. I had a salad with broiled salmon on top. My husband had... More
